The Final Exposition of the Great Deception!
Revealed September 22, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 in www.thename.ph Maestro (Teacher) Eraño Martin Evangelista will expose the great deception that was perpetrated, and continued to be perpetrated by the so called “Christian” religions upon the people of the world. With unbelievable audacity, these religions mislead people with teachings and beliefs that are based on half-truths and falsehoods. As a result, the curse that always come with these false teachings and beliefs continue to bring untold miseries and sufferings to people worldwide. Everybody is a living witness to the natural and man-made catastrophes and calamities that are happening, like climate change, unusually strong typhoons, floods never before seen, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes, tsunamis, religious wars, environmental disasters, etc. This is not to mention the anxiety and tension brought about by geopolitics, possibility of a nuclear war, widespread hunger brought about by climate change and economic malaise. And as any keen observer can tell, these things becoming worse with time and happening now with more frequency. Christians and some non-Christian religions believe in Jesus. More so with the Christian religions who made Jesus as cornerstone of their faith. Surprisingly however, their beliefs about the one and the same Jesus are never consistent. Some of them believe that Jesus is a “son of God.” Others say that he is a “god”, but also a man. Still others claim that he is a prophet sent by God. The confusion about the many “personalities” of Jesus stems from the complete reliance of the religions on the New Testament, as if the New Testament has superseded the Word of God in the Old Testament. What were the prophecies in the Old Testament and what were the stories and claims by the apostles of Jesus in the New Testaments as to: - the true person of Jesus, - the real mission of Jesus “to save the lost sheep of Israel” They never did a serious comparison. Had they consulted the words of the Prophets of God in the Old Testament, they would have known about the real Jesus and his specific mission. The facts are that the gospels of the New Testament were written by people long after the death of Jesus, and these gospels were based on teachings attributed to the apostles and followers of Jesus. The religions mainly focused their rituals and teachings on the gospels. Had they consulted the prophecies in the Old Testament, they would have known, validated and clearly understood the following: · that the writings of the apostles and the followers of Jesus in the New Testament were made-up stories, · the claims about Jesus being able to fulfill the prophecies pronounced by the Prophets of God in the Old Testament are not true. · and the world will not end. Only by doing this comparison of the "prophecies" against the "stories and claims' of Jesus' " apostles and followers can people make a valid conclusion that the apostles' claims about Jesus are true or not. According to King Solomon (who was loved by God), do we have to accept the teachings of the religions without validating them based on the Word of God as written in the Holy Bible? “Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.” Ecclesiastes 12:12 (NIV) Why did King Solomon say this? What does the Holy Bible say about it? “Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.” Isaiah 34:16 (NIV) We should only read the Word of God that was written in the Holy Bible. Now, who were given the authority by God that we should believe in? “Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7 (NIV) We should only believe in the Prophets of God. How does God speak to His prophets? “I spoke to the prophets, gave them many visions and told parables through them.” Hosea 12:10 (NIV) God speaks to them in this manner. An example is how God spoke to King Solomon as follows: “At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon during the night in a dream, and God said, “Ask for whatever you want me to give you.” I Kings 3:5 (NIV) What did King Solomon ask from God? “Solomon answered, “You have shown great kindness to your servant, my father David, because he was faithful to you and righteous and upright in heart. You have continued this great kindness to him and have given him a son to sit on his throne this very day. “Now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of my father David. But I am only a little child and do not know how to carry out my duties. Your servant is here among the people you have chosen, a great people, too numerous to count or number. So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?” I Kings 3:6-9 (NIV) What was God’s response to King Solomon’s request? “The Lord was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. So God said to him, “Since you have asked for this and not for long life or wealth for yourself, nor have asked for the death of your enemies but for discernment in administering justice, I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.” I Kings 3:10-12 God granted him his request. That is why he had the authority to say what had been revealed to him by God. We should believe in what he had written in the Holy Bible. Going back to: “Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.” Ecclesiastes 12:12 (NIV) What should we do? “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” Ecclesiastes 12:13 (NIV) If you fear and obey God, what is the consequence for you? “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14 (NIV) Before believing in the teachings based on the other books, we should first look into the books of the prophets of God. The comparison will show whether the teachings contained in the other books are valid or not. Pay particular attention to the beliefs and teachings of the religions that Jesus is the “son of God”; that he died and came back to life after three days; that Jesus will return at the end of the world to rule the earth; and Jesus’ promise of life after death – a life in heaven where one can live forever and ever. What is the truth regarding all these? People had placed so much hope in this promise of the afterlife in heaven such that most have lightly taken their lives on earth and therefore did not strive to be good stewards of the world in which we live. They believed in a second life in heaven – the afterlife. The religions, Christians and non- Christians like the Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, Shintoists, etc. believe in the afterlife. What is the truth regarding the teachings of the religions on Jesus? What was the true prophecy of the prophets of God regarding Jesus? “When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men. But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you. Your house and your kingdom will endure forever before me; your throne will be established forever.’” Nathan reported to David all the words of this entire revelation.” II Samuel 7:12-17 (NIV) This prophecy was about an "offspring" or a "descendant of David", and that the prophecy would be fulfilled after David’s time or after his death. What would be the descendant’s work? “He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” II Samuel 7:13 (NIV) This was the prophecy of God given to David, spoken through the prophet Nathan - that his descendant will build a house with the Name of God. Why was there a need to build a house with the Name of God? What was the reason? “Then Jeremiah said to all the people, including the women, "Hear the word of the LORD, all you people of Judah in Egypt. This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: You and your wives have shown by your actions what you promised when you said, 'We will certainly carry out the vows we made to burn incense and pour out drink offerings to the Queen of Heaven.' "Go ahead then, do what you promised! Keep your vows!” Jeremiah 44:24-25 (NIV) This unfaithfulness made God angry with His people. During their sojourn in Egypt, (before the Exodus), they worshipped the "queen of heaven". This is equivalent to the present-day Mary, mother of Jesus, who has the title of "queen of heaven and earth" (given by the religions), and who is still venerated up to this day. What was God's judgment on them? “But hear the word of the LORD, all Jews living in Egypt: 'I swear by my great name,' says the LORD, 'that no one from Judah living anywhere in Egypt will ever again invoke my name or swear, "As surely as the Sovereign LORD lives." Jeremiah 44:26 (NIV) Since then God had cursed the people of Israel so that they may never again speak the Name of God. King Solomon was tasked to build a house with the Name of God on it so that the Name of God may be shown once more to the people of Israel. If they repent and call on the Name of God, the curse would be lifted by God. When a curse is given by God, it will surely happen! “The LORD has sworn, "Surely, as I have planned, so it will be, and as I have purposed, so it will stand.” Isaiah 14:24 (NIV) God said that it could not be stopped from happening, because God had already said it. The people of Israel would have to use their wisdom and understanding. When the house with the Name of God was built, the Israelites themselves would see and learn the Name. It was not just an ordinary house that would be built. It is the house that had the Name of God (written) on it. If the house was built with the Name of God on it, what was the promise of God to the descendant of David? “I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men.” II Samuel 7:14 (NIV) "I will be his father, and he will be my son" - the descendant of David would be considered or be privileged to be "called" the "son of God" - this was the honor or title that would be conferred on him if he succeeded, though he was just a man. A condition was however also given: that if the descendant of David would commit iniquity, he would be punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men." Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista asks? Why would he be punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men” and not with the rod of God? Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista explains that if the descendant of David built the house with the Name of God, the people of Israel during their time would see and know the Name. And when they call on the Name of God, then the curse that was upon the people of Israel would be lifted. The people of Israel would have been saved. But if the descendant of David failed in his work of letting his people know the Name of God, the people should be the ones who would have to punish him because it is the people who would have benefited from knowing the Name. Why? Because the work that was given to the descendant of David was not for the benefit of God but for the benefit of the people of Israel! Because at that time, the house with the Name of God would show the people of Israel the way to save themselves from their sins to God. Consistent with the commandments of God - to whom you have sinned, so shall you receive punishment from! If you have sinned against the people, they will administer the punishment. God always gives His commandment with a condition, because all possess God-given “Free Will." Who was the “descendant of David” who would fulfill the prophecy given in II Samuel 7:12-17? “But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon, and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign. He is the one who will build a house for my Name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.’” I Chronicles 22:9-10 (NIV) The first choice for the title “Son of God” was the real son of David, King Solomon–called a man of peace. As prophesied, he was to be called a “Son of God” for building the house with the Name of God. The religions do not have any teaching that describes King Solomon as a “Son of God.” Solomon should have been the first to be recognized as a “Son of God.” “Now, my son, the LORD be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the LORD your God, as he said you would. May the LORD give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God. Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the LORD gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged.” I Chronicles 22:11-13 (NIV) This was the reminder that God gave Solomon - for him to be strong and to obey the Commandments. Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista asks: Was Solomon successful in making his people knew the Name of God? “King Solomon, however, loved many foreign women besides Pharaoh's daughter -Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Sidonians and Hittites. They were from nations about which the LORD had told the Israelites, "You must not intermarry with them, because they will surely turn your hearts after their gods." Nevertheless, Solomon held fast to them in love. He had seven hundred wives of royal birth and three hundred concubines, and his wives led him astray. As Solomon grew old, his wives turned his heart after other gods, and his heart was not fully devoted to the LORD his God, as the heart of David his father had been. He followed Ashtoreth the goddess of the Sidonians, and Molech the detestable god of the Ammonites. Thus, Solomon did evil in the eyes of the LORD, he did not follow the LORD completely, as David his father had done. On a hill east of Jerusalem, Solomon built a high place for Chemosh the detestable god of Moab, and for Molech the detestable god of the Ammonites. He did the same for all his foreign wives, who burned incense and offered sacrifices to their gods.” 1 Kings 11:1-8 (NIV) King Solomon was successful in building the house with the Name of God, but when he grew old his many wives had turned him away from the Lord his God. Solomon also made temples for the gods of his other wives. His people got confused with the many temples built in honor of the gods of his many wives. They never knew which temple or house was the one with the real Name of God! Solomon was a king and could have many wives. What was the advice given by God regarding the marriage with women from other nations? What was King Solomon’s offense? “When the LORD your God brings you into the land you are entering to possess and drives out before you many nations - the Hittites, Girgashites, Amorites, Canaanites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites, seven nations larger and stronger than you - and when the LORD your God has delivered them over to you and you have defeated them, then you must destroy them totally. Make no treaty with them, and show them no mercy. Do not intermarry with them. Do not give your daughters to their sons or take their daughters for your sons, for they will turn your sons away from following me to serve other gods, and the LORD's anger will burn against you and will quickly destroy you.” Deuteronomy 7:1-4 (NIV) To marry or have many women is reserved for a king. God cautioned Solomon that he should marry only the women from the same nation of Israel, and not from the gentile nations. Let us continue: “The LORD became angry with Solomon because his heart had turned away from the LORD, the God of Israel, who had appeared to him twice. Although he had forbidden Solomon to follow other gods, Solomon did not keep the LORD's command. So the LORD said to Solomon, "Since this is your attitude and you have not kept my covenant and my decrees, which I commanded you, I will most certainly tear the kingdom away from you and give it to one of your subordinates. Nevertheless, for the sake of David your father, I will not do it during your lifetime. I will tear it out of the hand of your son.” 1 Kings 11:9-12 (NIV) This was his punishment for his failure. However: “But my love will never be taken away from him, as I took it away from Saul, whom I removed from before you.” II Samuel 7:15 (NIV) The punishment was that King Solomon’s kingdom would be taken away. He was not physically punished by the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men." Why? Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista explains that King Solomon was a direct descendant, a real “descendant" or a son of David. Out of God’s love for his father, David, King Solomon was spared from physical punishment. The punishment with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men" highlighted in the prophecy of II Samuel 7:12-17 if the descendant of David would commit an offense, was never inflicted on King Solomon. If King Solomon was not punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men”, how did he die? “As for the other events of Solomon's reign - all he did and the wisdom he displayed - are they not written in the book of the annals of Solomon? Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years. Then he rested with his fathers and was buried in the city of David his father. And Rehoboam his son succeeded him as king.” 1 Kings 11:41-43 (NIV) King Solomon died a natural death; he did not die from punishment. Who would continue the work of making the people of Israel know the Name of God that was written on the house that King Solomon built? Would the people of Israel be forever cursed for not knowing the Name of God? Did the prophecy end there, or did God give another chance to the people of Israel? “Yet I will not tear the whole kingdom from him, but will give him one tribe for the sake of David my servant and for the sake of Jerusalem, which I have chosen." 1 Kings 11:13 (NIV) God gave them another chance. He did not take away the chance of making His Name known to the people of Israel. The man who would come from the “one tribe” would point to the real house with the Name of God from among the many temples that King Solomon built. What was the promise of God regarding the city of Jerusalem? “He took the carved Asherah pole he had made and put it in the temple, of which the LORD had said to David and to his son Solomon, "In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.” II Kings 21:7 (NIV) But who was the “one tribe” that would come from the house of David and that would be chosen? “Ask the LORD your God for a sign, whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights.” But Ahaz said, “I will not ask; I will not put the LORD to the test.” Then Isaiah said, "Hear now, you house of David! Is it not enough to try the patience of men? Will you try the patience of my God also?” Isaiah 7:11-13 (NIV) The prophecy of Isaiah was directed to the house of David, because they were preparing for the coming of the “one tribe” promised to come from their house. “Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel. He will eat curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right.” Isaiah 7:14-15 (NIV) “honey” – righteousness in order to “reject the wrong and choose the right” – he would be tested by Satan, hence the sign: “whether in the deepest depths or in the highest heights”. What was the fulfillment of this prophecy spoken by the prophet Isaiah? How was the prophesied “child” born? And what was the meaning of the word “virgin” in the Holy Bible? “This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18 (NIV) The prophesied “child” would be conceived through the Holy Spirit. Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says that the present understanding of many people and religions is that the Holy Spirit is another entity of God – the so- called third person of the trinity. What is the real meaning of the “Holy Spirit” in the Holy Bible? “and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus---” Acts 1:16 (NIV) It is written, the Holy Spirit spoke through the mouth of David and we read again in: “You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David: " 'Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?” Acts 4:25 (NIV) Finally, let us determine the meaning of the Holy Spirit that spoke through the mouth of David. What was the Holy Spirit that was placed in the mouth of David? “These are the last words of David: "The oracle of David son of Jesse, the oracle of the man exalted by the Most High, the man anointed by the God of Jacob, Israel's singer of songs: "The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; his word was on my tongue.” II Samuel 23:1-2 (NIV) The Holy Spirit is the Word of God that was placed in the mouth of David, not another entity of God! When one says “Holy Spirit” - it is the “Spirit or Word of God” which is invisible. It is “Holy” because it comes from God. What does the “Spirit of God” really mean? “Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. The voice of the LORD is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the LORD thunders over the mighty waters.” Psalm 29:2-3 (NIV)(underscoring ours). Before God created, He first proclaimed His command. Then it happened. Is it true? “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.” Genesis 1:1-3 (NIV) (underscoring ours). “And God said” – God spoke His Word first by giving a command to have light, and then He made it happen. It is now clear that the “Spirit of God” that was upon many waters is the voice or Word of God. The religions have assumed that it was God Himself in the third person of the trinity. That is not true! That is blasphemy! So, the “Holy Spirit” that was mentioned in the prophecy of a virgin giving birth to a child is the Word of God or command that was spoken through the mouth of the prophet Isaiah. What is the proof? Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says: Joseph was the one who really impregnated Mary before they were married. “This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. Because Joseph her husband-to-be was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18-20 (NIV) “is from the Holy Spirit” – or the Word of God that was prophesied and spoken through the mouth of prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 7:11-15! God, as the Holy Spirit, did not make Mary pregnant as taught by religions. It is not true – this is blasphemy to God! What does “virgin” mean in the Holy Bible? Mary became pregnant before her marriage to Joseph, and Joseph wanted to run away. During that time, what was the law of the people of Israel concerning an unmarried woman becoming pregnant? “If, however, the charge is true and no proof of the girl’s virginity can be found, she shall be brought to the door of her father’s house and there the men of her town shall stone her to death. She has done a disgraceful thing in Israel by being promiscuous while still in her father’s house. You must purge the evil from among you. If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die. You must purge the evil from Israel. If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death—the girl because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man’s wife. You must purge the evil from among you.” Deuteronomy 22:20-24 (NIV) The law of the people of Israel was very strict before concerning an unmarried woman giving birth to a child. In Mary and Joseph’s case, both of them could be stoned to death so as to purge the evil from their city. As Joseph was thinking of running away and abandoning Mary in her pregnancy, an angel of God appeared to Joseph in a dream to assure him that they would survive their predicament. The “child” which resulted from his union with Mary was the one prophesied by the Holy Spirit or the Word of God that was spoken through the mouth of the prophet Isaiah. During their time, it was impossible for the illicit union to go unpunished due to the strict observance of the laws given to Moses by God. But the angel assured Joseph that the child with Mary would live and be born without them being found out. As in Moses’ case, if God did not open the waters for his people to cross into the other side of the Red Sea, Moses would not have been successful in leading his people out of Egypt. Because of God’s bidding, the people of Israel were able to cross the Red Sea. In Joseph and Mary’s situation, the law would have to be circumvented so that the child born out of wedlock would survive and be born to fulfill the prophecy that was spoken by the prophet Isaiah. This extra ordinary feat would also be the child’s sign. What other law governed the status of a child born out of wedlock? How would the Jewish community look at the “child” as he grew up during their time? “No one born of a forbidden marriage nor any of his descendants may enter the assembly of the LORD, even down to the tenth generation.” Deuteronomy 23:2 (NIV) The “child” had to endure the stigma and consequence of the law up to ten generations. As it was the prophecy given by God for the people of Israel, it was certain that the child born out of wedlock (by a virgin) was the one promised in the prophecy of Isaiah 7:11-15. The “child” would continue Solomon’s unfulfilled work of leading the people of Israel to the house with the Name of God that was built by King Solomon. What was the proof that this “child” was born out of wedlock? “So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child.” Luke 2:4-5 (NIV) “pledged to be married” - It is very clear, the “child” was conceived before Joseph and Mary were married. Let us read again... “This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:18 (NIV) “through the Holy Spirit” – or the Word of God. “Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 1:19-20 (NIV) “is from the Holy Spirit” – the word of God as stated in the prophecy or promise of God. “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Matthew 1:21 (NIV) ”to give him the name Jesus” – the “child” is to be named “Jesus” “he will save his people” - This was the specific work of Jesus, just like King Solomon who was sent only to the people of Israel. Jesus in continuing the fulfillment of the prophecy in II Samuel 7:12-17, was sent only to his own people, Israel. He was not sent to the people of the world as claimed by the religions. In reality, all the prophets (except one) in the Old Testament were only sent to the people of Israel. Only one prophet (the last one) prophesied in the Holy Bible was sent to all the nations! “All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” Matthew 1:22-23 (NIV) “Immanuel” – as prophesied by the prophet Isaiah, should Jesus be able to fulfill his work, the people of Israel would know the Name of God and God would have been with them. “When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.” Matthew 1:24-25 (NIV) Thus, the sign given by the prophet Isaiah regarding a “child” conceived and born of an unmarried woman was with Jesus. Is it really true that Jesus was the son of Joseph and Mary? “to a virgin pledged to be married to a man named Joseph, a descendant of David. The virgin's name was Mary.” Luke 1:27 (NIV) Joseph was the one who came from the house of David, and not Mary, thus making him the father of Jesus. What is the proof that Jesus was the son of Joseph who came from the house of David, and that he was not the true “son of God?" “You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus.” Luke 1:31 (NIV) Who was Jesus' father? “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father David,” Luke 1:32 (NIV) Jesus was never the real “son of God," because his father was Joseph who came from the house of David. King Solomon was the real son of David. King Solomon was to be called a “son of God" if he was successful in his mission of showing to the people of Israel the Name of God in the house that he built. Jesus was a descendant of David. If successful in his work of leading his people to the house with the Name of God, (like King Solomon before him) he would be considered and called as a “son of God," even though he was just a man. In fact, had King Solomon been able to carry out his own task, there would have been no need for Jesus to be born and sent forth! What was Jesus' mission? “Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17:25-26 (NIV) And in another version: “O righteous Father, the world had not known thee, but I have known thee, and these have known that thou has sent me. And I have declared unto them thy name and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them and I in them.” John 17:25-26 (KJV) But Jesus failed to introduce God and His Name to his people. What the world knew was Jesus and he would became a god through the teachings of the religions. It is only in our present time, and through the revelations of Maestro Evangelista, that the people of the world are coming to know God and His Name. Is it really true that Jesus is only a son or a descendant of David? “A record of the genealogy of Jesus Christ the son of David, the son of Abraham:” Matthew 1:1 (NIV) True, he is only a descendant from the House of David, as prophesied. Did Jesus know that his specific work was only to save his own people, Israel? “He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Matthew 15:24 (NIV) And in another version: “But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.” Matthew 15:24 (KJV) He knew. Though Jesus was prophesied, he was not a prophet, for his work was specific. Jesus was sent by God for a specific mission: for him to lead his people to see the Name of God in the house built by King Solomon. Was Jesus successful in his work of leading his people to see God’s Name in the house with the Name of God? “The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place.” Luke 24:20-21 (NIV) Jesus failed in his work of making his people know the Name of God. As such, Jesus was not able to redeem Israel from their sins. God could not lift the curse from the Israelites. Jesus was sent only to save the people of Israel, not to save all the people of the world as the religions claim and continue to teach to their followers! What was worse was that his people knew that he failed in his work during his time. Therefore, no one can claim that Jesus is a “son of God” since he did not fulfill his mission. Why was he executed? What was written in the prophecy in II Samuel 7:12-14? “When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom. He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever. I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men.” II Samuel 7:12-14 (NIV) It was specifically said that if the descendant of David would fail and commit an offense he would be punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men." Did Jesus suffer this fate? Was Jesus punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men?" “All the people answered, “Let his blood be on us and on our children!” Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified.” Matthew 27:25-26 (NIV) He was punished. If he was punished and executed, how could he save his people from their sins to God? Why was he punished, what was his offense? “The Jews insisted, "We have a law, and according to that law he must die, because he claimed to be the Son of God." John 19:7 (NIV) He pretended to be the “Son of God." His people knew that he was a descendant of David, not a "Son of God." Why did he pretend to be the “Son of God?" What was the reason? “When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” Matthew 16:13 (NIV) When Jesus was with his disciples, he asked them who the “Son of Man” is, or the “Son of David” as prophesied in II Samuel 7:12-14 and in Isaiah 7:11-15. He was not asking who the “son of God” is. How was he answered by his disciples? “They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.” Matthew 16:14 (NIV) Jesus was expecting his disciples to say or declare that he was the “Son of Man” or the “Son of David." But based on the answers given by his disciples, they did not really know him and what his work was that was prophesied. Then he asked his disciples again who has not yet given an answer. “But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Matthew 16:15 (NIV) What was Peter’s answer? “Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Matthew 16:16 (NIV) It was Peter who answered that Jesus was the “Son of God." All the teachings of the religions that Jesus is the “Son of God” obviously ignore the question that Jesus posed to his disciples: “Who do people say the Son of Man is?” The focus of the religions’ teachings was on the answer given by Peter that Jesus was the “Son of God." In reality, Peter’s answer: “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." was incorrect! Did Jesus get angry with Peter for his wrong answer? Did he try to correct Peter? “Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 16:17 (NIV) Jesus was elated by Peter’s answer that he was the “Son of God." Remember the condition provided in the prophecy regarding the “descendant of David?" Should this “descendant of David” commit an offense he would be punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men." Why? Jesus took advantage of the answer of Peter for his own gain. Instead of rebuking Peter, he praised or blessed him for his answer saying that “this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven." Thus, Jesus started to claim that he was the “Son of God”. His true feelings regarding his most cherished desire have been put out in the open. All along, in his heart, he wanted people to recognize or to acknowledge him as the “Son of God." The reason why Jesus pretended to be the “Son of God” was because of Peter. That was his first offense. What else did Jesus say? “And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.” Matthew 16:18 (NIV) Jesus was sent by God to lead his people to the house with the Name of God. Instead, he built another house in his own name. Jesus had put up his own church which was not part of his work as specified in the prophecies. This deception was used as the foundation of faith of the many religions. This was the second offense of Jesus. Since Peter flattered Jesus with his answer, how did Jesus reward Peter in return? “I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” Matthew 16:19 (NIV) Since he has assumed that he is now the “Son of God," he gave Peter authority. But did Jesus know that he had committed an offense? “Then he warned his disciples not to tell anyone that he was the Christ.” Matthew 16:20 (NIV) From the time that he pretended to be the “Son of God” without fulfilling his work, and had put up his own church, was he aware that he would be punished with the “rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men?" “From that time on Jesus began to explain to his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things at the hands of the elders, chief priests and teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and on the third day be raised to life.” Matthew 16:21 (NIV) He said that he would “suffer” or be punished, and on the third day he would be raised to life. Later, we will learn about the meaning of the “third day” as Jesus had mentioned. This will be explained by Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista through the Holy Bible. To continue: “Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him. “Never, Lord!” he said. “This shall never happen to you!” Matthew 16:22 (NIV) Peter influenced Jesus to pretend as the “Son of God"; this time he tried again to persuade Jesus that suffering and death will never happen to him (Jesus). What did Jesus say to him? “Jesus turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me; you do not have in mind the things of God, but the things of men.” Matthew 16:23 (NIV) This is the manifestation that Jesus realized that Peter had been influenced by Satan to successfully deceive him! Comparing with the events in the Garden of Eden, the Snake deceived Eve and not Adam. Adam was deceived through Eve! In Jesus’ case, Satan used Peter to deceive Jesus to act as the “Son of God." The transgression that happened in the Garden of Eden happened again in the time of Jesus and that is why he was punished. Jesus never learned from the prior transgression which happened in the Garden in Eden. Because of the disobedience that happened in the Garden in Eden, the Snake was punished by God and made to crawl. With the offenses he committed, Jesus was also punished by God and suffered pain from scourging. They suffered the same fate – both were punished! Regarding the punishment of Jesus for his offenses, as spoken in the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah in: “He will eat curds and honey when he knows enough to reject the wrong and choose the right.” Isaiah 7:15 (NIV) “to reject the wrong and choose the right” - Jesus would be tempted during his mission. Did the temptation happen? “He will eat curds and honey” - only when he fulfills his work and overcomes the temptation that he would be subjected to, would he be rewarded with blessings from God, be acknowledged and be called the “Son of God” by his people. As a side remark at this time, Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says that the religions claim and teach that Jesus had the power to heal, bring back the dead to life, and cast out demons. However, the prophecies about Jesus did not include such things. If he had them, where did Jesus get his power? As it was said “when he knows enough” – he would be tested. Who would test him? “The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” Luke 4:3 (NIV) The Devil knew that Jesus was not a real “Son of God”. If Jesus was really the “Son of God”, the Devil would not have dared challenge him in the first place! What is the proof? “One day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them. The LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it.” Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.” Job 1:6-8 (NIV) And in another version: “Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.” Job 1:6 (KJV) Satan knew that Jesus was only a “son of Man” sent to fulfill the prophecy in II Samuel 7:12-17 and in Isaiah 7:11-15! “And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.” Job 1:7 (KJV) After Satan (Snake) was successful in deceiving Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden, Satan was given the power over the earth. “And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” Job 1:8 (KJV) God always puts his people to the test. Jesus was also tested to see if he would remain faithful to God or not. In order for us to be certain that Satan really knew who the “Sons of God” were: “On another day the angels came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came with them to present himself before him. And the LORD said to Satan, “Where have you come from?” Satan answered the LORD, “From roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it." Then the LORD said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.” “Skin for skin!” Satan replied. “A man will give all he has for his own life. But stretch out your hand and strike his flesh and bones, and he will surely curse you to your face.” The LORD said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.” Job 2:1-6 (NIV) And in another version: “Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them to present himself before the LORD. And the LORD said unto Satan, from whence comest thou? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil? And still he holdeth fast his integrity, although thou movedst me against him, to destroy him without cause. And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yea, all that a man hath will he give for his life. But put forth thine hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh, and he will curse thee to thy face. And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, he is in thine hand; but save his life.” Job 2:1-6 (KJV) God allowed Satan to test Job but not to take Job’s life. Why is it that with the test given to Jesus, he would later die? Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says: Jesus did not pass the test that was given to him by God! You have read that Job was tested “Skin for skin” by Satan, but God ordered Satan not to kill him. In the case of Jesus, why did God allow him to be executed? The reason Jesus was punished with death is that he professed to be the “Son of God” to his people. He was deceiving them to believe that he can save and heal them through his miracles and powers, when he was only sent to lead his people (Matthew 15:24) and show them the house with the Name of God, that was built before by King Solomon. Let us return to: “The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread.” Luke 4:3 (NIV) If Jesus really was a "Son of God," he would have easily turned the stone into bread! Jesus was just a man. He doesn't have real power, God did not give him such power; his mission was only to lead his people to the house where the Name of God was written, the house built by King Solomon. Satan or the Devil was certain that Jesus was not a “Son of God” because Satan had stood before God together with the “Sons of God!" Satan knew that Jesus was an impostor, trying to be someone else! What was Jesus’ answer to the challenge made by the Devil? “Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone." Luke 4:4 (NIV) Jesus answered the Devil indirectly. He evaded the Devil’s challenge which was tantamount to admitting that he could not turn the stone into bread because he had no power to do so. The Devil knew he didn’t have power. Who would offer Jesus the power? “The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, “I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to.” Luke 4:5-6 (NIV) Satan or the Devil told Jesus that the world has been given to him, why? Maestro Evangelista says: as it is written in Job 1:6 (KJV), Satan was “From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it". Satan was able to travel freely from his abode: from below the earth and on the earth, even up to heaven. From the time that Satan successfully tempted Eve and Adam in the Garden of Eden, he was given authority to rule over the world. How would the Devil or Satan give the world to Jesus? “So if you worship me, it will all be yours.” Luke 4:7 (NIV) If Jesus would worship or obey the Devil's or Satan’s bidding! If the world is now with Satan, the world should now be worshiping Satan. The proofs that Satan had given the “authority and splendor” of the kingdoms of the world to Jesus are as follows: to date, in all the nations of the world, in every culture, and in all the languages in the world, people worship Jesus! He is worshipped as the" Son of God”, the “Christ” or the “Messiah”, as a prophet, and also as a god! As the world continues to worship Jesus, how can we prove that the power of Satan or the Devil has been given to Jesus? How will the people of the world know that Jesus accepted the power offered by Satan and that he worshipped Satan? Is it not true that the world, through the religions, is worshipping Jesus up to the present time? It is time to wake up and understand this exposition of the great deception! In the Holy Bible, was there any instance that Satan tempted another man with an offer of all the “authority and splendor” of the kingdoms of the world, other than Jesus? We know about the temptation in the Garden of Eden, where Adam and Eve failed and were meted out death. Job was tested too, but he passed the test and survived to live a full life. Jesus was tested, but he failed and thus he was killed at the prime of his life! How do we know that Jesus has indeed worshipped the Devil or Satan, and not God? For us to know the truth about God and also of Satan, we should know the manner of worshipping God and also the manner of worshipping the Devil or Satan. In order to understand the manner of worshipping the Devil or Satan, it is important to know the manner of worshipping God. “Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.” Ecclesiastes 12:12 (NIV) All religions have written many books and added them to the Holy Bible to expound on their teachings. But these additions only distorted and added confusion to the real Word of God. Is the Holy Bible (Old Testament books and Book of Revelation) enough for all people to know God and not get weary? “Look in the scroll of the Lord and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.” Isaiah 34:16 (NIV) The Holy Bible is enough. To read and study other books written by the religions makes one weary. What is the conclusion of the matter? “Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.” Ecclesiastes 12:13 (NIV) Fear God and obey His commandments. This is the way to worship God. What will God give you if you fear God and obey His Commandments? “For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” Ecclesiastes 12:14 (NIV) If you fear God and obey His Commandments, nothing will be hidden from you and you will have a discerning mind that allows you to differentiate between “good and evil.” “good” – the real God and his teachings that were hidden by the religions. “evil”– the real Satan and his teachings were also hidden by the religions. If you search for God, through His prophets’ writings recorded in the Holy Bible, you will gain true knowledge about Him. What does the Holy Bible mean by “Fear God?" “and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God.” Proverbs 2:4-5 (NIV) If you look for God sincerely, you will come to know Him. What is “The fear of the LORD?" “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” Proverbs 9:10 (NIV) Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista advises that it is very important to have the wisdom and understanding about God and His Commandments. What does it mean? “Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.” Proverbs 4:7 (NIV) We must have wisdom, but above all, we should use our understanding in all our endeavors. This is especially true when we try to discern the truth about God and the evil of Satan. We should not only use our wisdom nor use only our understanding. We should use both so that we can no longer be deceived by anyone. What is the proof that we have never used our understanding and that we have not lived normally because we are confused? Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says it is simple. Read the following: Jesus cried out on the cross, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matt. 27:42) In this instance, Jesus admitted that he was forsaken by God to suffer and die on the cross. Despite this admission, many people all over the world pray and ask help from Jesus. Where is the wisdom and the understanding in praying and asking help from a man who admitted that he was forsaken by God? How can Jesus save another man, when he failed to save himself! The religions took away our wisdom and understanding when they taught us to pray to God, in Jesus’ name, and all of us believed and gave our talents and treasures to the religions! This makes God very angry, as it was revealed by Maestro Evangelista in the article “Between the Deceivers and the Deceived, To Whom is God More Wrathful?” – God is angry with the people who are easily deceived - those who do not use their wisdom and understanding. As it happened in the Garden of Eden, the Snake (the deceiver) was only punished and made to crawl on the ground but was allowed to remain in the Garden and was not given death. However, Adam and Eve (the deceived) were banished and given death for their transgression! In our present time, the deceivers’ way of making a living is through deception. But if people can not be deceived anymore, the deceivers will cease to prosper and their tribe die a natural death. Righteousness will then reign in this world. Since we were all deceived, God is angry with us all and the deceivers became wealthy! But the time of the end of the deceptions has come. Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista is now revealing the truth about the real teaching of God and the evil of Satan! As an example: “And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." Genesis 2:16-17 (NIV) God commanded Adam that he may eat all of the fruits in the Garden, save the one fruit of “the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.” If he would eat it he would surely die as a consequence. "You are free..." - This was the command that God gave to Adam, "Free will." What is Satan’s way of temptation? “Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" Genesis 3:1 (NIV) The manner of deception by Satan is to reverse or overturn God’s commandment! What did the woman say to the serpent? “The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " Genesis 3:2-3 (NIV) The way to worship God is “to obey” His commandments. Eve knew otherwise and when she said “or you will die”, what did the serpent say to Eve? "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman.” Genesis 3:4 (NIV) Satan’s way of deception is by reversing or overturning God’s Commandment. If they accept or obey Satan’s deception, what would happen to them? “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” Genesis 3:5 (NIV) The Snake or Satan was right in a way, that when Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit, they would know “good and evil." Why? This knowledge leads to the realization that they will be punished! From the point of view of the woman, it looked good for them to eat the fruit as it would make them intelligent. But this intelligence would make them realize that they would receive punishment after eating the fruit! Maestro Evangelista says: Yes, they became intelligent, but were punished for their disobedience. So, when Satan overturned God’s commandment in the Garden in Eden through Adam and Eve’s transgression, he got the authority to rule over the world; not only below the earth, but also above it. Therefore, the Devil or Satan had the authority to offer the world to Jesus, in order to successfully tempt him (Jesus). As a condition, during his time, Jesus had to overturn the Ten Commandments of God. So unlike in the Garden of Eden, where there was only one commandment given to Adam! What was God’s strict law regarding the Ten Commandments? Did God allow anyone to change and even abolish the Commandments by replacing them with a new set of commandments? “Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.” Deuteronomy 4:2 (NIV) The Commandments given to Moses, (as the spokesman of God during his time) should be intact, no changes or revisions to be made. The Commandments must remain as they were. What did Jesus do to the Commandments of God which must be strictly observed, with no addition or changes to be made? “Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:" Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.” Matthew 22:34-38 (NIV) Only a commandment was given against the misuse of the Name of God. “Love the Lord your God” – This is not written in any of the Ten Commandments of God! This was a great deception made by Jesus to his people during his time! He was deceiving them to believe in a commandment that was not part of the Great Commandments of God! What was really written in the Commandments regarding God? “You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses His name.” Deuteronomy 5:11 (NIV) This was the only commandment: Respect and do not misuse the Name of God! Again, “Love the Lord your God”- Jesus just made up his first commandment. What was the next greatest commandment according to Jesus? “And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” Matthew 22:39-40 (NIV) The foregoing was never written in the Ten Commandments of God! Jesus has totally revised and changed the Ten Commandments of God and replaced it with his own two commandments which he just made up to deceive his people. He was supposed to lead them and not mislead them! Maestro Evangelista says: since Jesus was referring to the Ten Commandments of God, what was one of the greatest Commandments of God that if you obey it you will receive blessings from God? "Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you.” Deuteronomy 5:16 (NIV) "Honor your father and your mother" –God had said before that if you obey this commandment to honor and respect (not only to love) your parents, He will bless you and give you a long and prosperous life on this earth. This is different from the “love your neighbor” as proclaimed by Jesus! God said that you should give “honor” to your father and your mother. What is Satan’s teaching regarding this Commandment? The reverse or opposite – “Hate your father and mother." What will Jesus teach his people regarding the Commandment of giving honor to one’s “father and mother?" Was Jesus sincere about the commandment that he made up to “Love your neighbor as yourself?" “Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters – yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple.” Luke 14:25-26 (NIV) Jesus overturned one of God’s Commandments and even broke his own commandment of “Love your neighbor as yourself" when he taught to hate and give little value to one’s own father and mother, one’s own brothers and sisters, and even one’s own life in order to become one of his (Jesus’) followers! Did Jesus reverse and overturn one of God’s great Commandments? Yes! Similar to Satan’s manner of reversing God’s Commandment in the Garden of Eden. What Jesus did was more than what Satan has done! To date, the two commandments of Jesus are being taught and preached around the world and the Ten Commandments of God have been de-emphasized by the religions that follow Jesus. To prove again that Jesus worshipped Satan, let us read another of God’s commandment which Jesus overturned. “The judges must make a thorough investigation, and if the witness proves to be a liar, giving false testimony against his brother, then do to him as he intended to do to his brother. You must purge the evil from among you. The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you.” Deuteronomy 19:18-20 (NIV) How should the punishment be given? “Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.” Deuteronomy 19:21 (NIV) God said we should show no pity to those who violate the Law. With Jesus, he said “we should love our neighbor.” Why did God want his people to strictly observe His Commandments? “The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.” Psalm 18:24 (NIV) How should a man conduct himself with other people? “To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.” Psalm 18:25-27 (NIV) So that evil does not proliferate and discourage others not to do evil and commit transgressions. Did Jesus know about this law of “eye for eye?" Would Jesus uphold it or overturn it? "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' Matthew 5:38 (NIV) He knew about this commandment! What would he teach them about it? “But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.” Matthew 5:39 (NIV) What happened to the Law of “eye for eye” which God mandated everybody to strictly observe? “And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles.” Matthew 5:40-41 (NIV) He was telling us not to go against our oppressors... “Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.” Matthew 5:42 (NIV) Give in even to those who deceive us. And what else did Jesus tell us to do? “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you,” Matthew 5:43-44 (NIV) At this time, Jesus directly overturned God’s Commandments and made his followers observe his own two commandments! Can we read in the Holy Bible that the full power of Satan has been given to Jesus? What did Satan bring to this world? He brought division and suffering for the people. During the time of Jesus, who brought division and suffering to the world? Was it still Satan? "I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!” Luke 12:49 (NIV) Jesus was the man who brought trouble (fire) into the world. It was no longer Satan! Satan had transferred his power and authority to Jesus! “But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed!” Luke 12:50 (NIV) “baptism” – Jesus was aware that he had done "wrong" because he went against God and would be punished for his own sins. “distressed” – he was afraid that he had to suffer punishment and die, as prophesied. He would have lived a full life if he had fulfilled his mission. Everyone who has committed sin will pay for it. “The soul who sins is the one who will die. The son will not share the guilt of the father, nor will the father share the guilt of the son. The righteousness of the righteous man will be credited to him, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against him.” Ezekiel 18:20 (NIV) The religions say he had brought peace to the world, did he? “Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three.” Luke 12:51 (NIV) Jesus himself said that he did not bring peace on earth! He caused all the troubles from the day he came to his people and because of his teachings he was able to spread greater evil in the world! What kind of division did he cause? “From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." Luke 12:52-53 (NIV) “From now on” – starting in his time, Jesus was the cause of the divisions and sufferings of countless generations of people throughout many nations in every corner of the world. This is still happening today, our present time. Jesus took over the work of Satan (causing division and suffering on earth) after he accepted the promise of the Devil or Satan to be the king of the world and have power over it. The work of Satan was fulfilled by Jesus. He was punished and killed because of what the prophecy said: that if he would fail in carrying out his work from God and commit an offense, he would be punished “with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men” - as mentioned in II Samuel 7:12-14! Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista says that long ago, Jesus has admitted that he brought “division” in this world. However, all the religions say that he brought “peace”. Who is presently deceiving the people of the world? The religions are deceiving the people of the world at present; it is not Jesus anymore! The religions continue to say that Jesus brought “peace” even when Jesus himself said that he brought “division!" The religions have also used the power of Satan to continually deceive the people of the world up to this very day! If Jesus really did bring “peace” to this world, we should already have everlasting peace today. Since Jesus said he brought division, the world continues to experience the division in terms of conflict, instability, economic woes, and suffering. The religions and their people are the deceiving culprits in the world today! When Jesus was still alive, what did he give to his disciples? “When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.” Luke 9:1-2 (NIV) Jesus gave his disciples his power, the very same power he got from Satan. This same power was transferred to the religions from Jesus’ apostles and disciples. With this power, the religions are able to deceive the people of the world into believing their teachings and everything about Jesus including those which are not true. There are disagreements among the religions about their teachings regarding God and Jesus. This is the reason why the people of varied beliefs continue to fight with each other to the present time. THE TRUE MEANING OF THE THIRD DAY As you have read, Jesus said to his disciples when he was still alive, that he would be punished and would be killed but “on the third day be raised to life” - in Matthew 16:21. Maestro Evangelista explains the meaning of the “third day” that was said by Jesus: “Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.” Luke 18:31 (NIV) Why did Jesus say this? “He will be handed over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him.” Luke 18:32 (NIV) All that Jesus mentioned (as prophesied) were fulfilled, because he committed iniquity and did not fulfill his mission for God and for his people. And Jesus continued: “On the third day he will rise again." Luke 18:33 (NIV) Did the apostles understand the meaning of what he said? “The disciples did not understand any of this. Its meaning was hidden from them, and they did not know what he was talking about.” Luke 18:34 (NIV) When Jesus said that when he had committed an offense he would be punished and killed, his people knew about it. But when he said that “On the third day he will rise again”, that was the part that was not understood by his disciples. What is the meaning of the “third day,” as said by Jesus? If we want to have knowledge and a better understanding of Jesus, what books in the Holy Bible should we read? To know him better, Jesus gave us a clue: “He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.” Luke 24:44 (NIV) Jesus said: – “everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man”. He was referring to the prophets of God in the books of the Old Testament, not to the books of his disciples in the New Testament. Even his disciples should have read about him in the books of the Prophets of God in the Old Testament so that they could have known him better. So as not to be deceived again regarding the true nature of Jesus, his work and his fate, Jesus himself said that we should read about him in: • The Laws of Moses – which Jesus has broken and overturned; • The Prophets – the ones who prophesied his coming and his mission; • The Psalms –the book about the words of David, from whom Jesus was a descendant. What was written about Jesus in the Psalms of David? Jesus said before that “He will be handed over to the Gentiles. They will mock him, insult him, spit on him, flog him and kill him”. What was really actually written in the Psalms of David? “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from the words of my groaning? O my God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer, by night, and am not silent.” Psalm 22:1-2 (NIV) This was the prophecy given by David, more than 700 years before the coming of Jesus; the Psalms of David describe the punishment should the “son of Man” or the descendant of David commit an offense. What other things were written about Jesus? “My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death. Dogs have surrounded me; a band of evil men has encircled me, they have pierced my hands and my feet.” “I can count all my bones; people stare and gloat over me. They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing." Psalm 22:15-18(NIV) “pierced” – Maestro Evangelista says Jesus was crucified. O LORD, do not rebuke me in your anger or discipline me in your wrath. For your arrows have pierced me, and your hand has come down upon me. Because of your wrath there is no health in my body; my bones have no soundness because of my sin. My guilt has overwhelmed me like a burden too heavy to bear. My wounds fester and are loathsome because of my sinful folly. I am bowed down and brought very low; all day long I go about mourning. My back is filled with searing pain; there is no health in my body. I am feeble and utterly crushed; I groan in anguish of heart.” Psalm 38-1-8 (NIV) Because of his pride, he was forsaken. He knew this would happen and that was why he was afraid to die. “All my longings lie open before you, O Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you. My heart pounds, my strength fails me; even the light has gone from my eyes.” Psalm 38:6-10 (NIV) How long did Jesus live? “I said, “I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth as long as the wicked are in my presence.” But when I was silent and still, not even saying anything good, my anguish increased. My heart grew hot within me, and as I meditated, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: “Show me, O LORD, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting is my life. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Each man’s life is but a breath. Selah” Psalm 39:1-5 (NIV) “a mere handbreadth” – Jesus died in the prime of his life. Was this really Jesus? “They put gall in my food and gave me vinegar for my thirst.” Psalm 69:21 (NIV) As written in the Psalms of David, all that Jesus said about himself were true! What about the “third day” that Jesus spoke about to his disciples? “For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.” Psalm 90:4 (NIV) The “third day” that Jesus mentioned, which was not understood by his disciples, is based on a ‘thousand years’ that is considered just a ‘day’ by God. Was Jesus’ statement that “On the third day he will rise again" true? Would he return on that day? Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista states that the reason his disciples did not understand Jesus' statement regarding his rising up on the third day was that he did not explain it to them. If Jesus were to explain that statement today, where can his explanation be found? Maestro Evangelista says that it is found in the Book of Revelation which contains the Testimony of Jesus. According to Jesus, when will the "third day" he spoke of happen? From the time of his coming, two millennia, or two thousand years have passed. Or in God’s terms, two days have passed. The “third day”, signifies the first years of the third millennium! It is in our present time! He said "on the third day" not "after the third day", he would rise again. There is someone else who will come and this is what his disciples could not comprehend. “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.” Revelation 22:16 (NIV) Jesus said that he is sending an "angel" – Jesus is not coming! It is the “angel” that is sent by Jesus, who will testify to the “churches” (people who believe in Jesus) to clarify that he (Jesus) is only the "Root and Offspring" (or a descendant) of David, and also the bright “morning star”. Who alone has revealed to everyone that Jesus is the “Root and the Offspring of David and the bright Morning Star?" That is the sign of the coming “angel” of Jesus. The “angel” is not an enemy of Jesus set out to destroy his (Jesus’) reputation. The “angel" will simply reveal to everyone what Jesus has sent him to do. And that is to declare that long ago, Jesus has admitted that he is “Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star”. Who has revealed to everyone, through the www.thename.ph website, about the real identity of Jesus based on his own admission? It is Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista who has revealed that Jesus is the "Root and the Offspring of David". This exposition is not from the religions, for they preach that Jesus is the “Son of God”, the identity that Jesus desired and wanted his people to accept but for which he was punished and killed! Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista is the “angel” or real messenger of Jesus. Again, read in the prophecy regarding the real person of Jesus: “When your days are over and you rest with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring to succeed you, who will come from your own body, and I will establish his kingdom.” II Samuel 7:12 (NIV) The promise given to David - a descendant will come from his bloodline. What would be the work of the descendant? “He is the one who will build a house for my Name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.” II Samuel 7:13 (NIV) The first choice was King Solomon a “real son” or descendant of David. King Solomon built the house with the Name of God. What was the promise of God? “I will be his father, and he will be my son. When he does wrong, I will punish him with the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men.” II Samuel 7:14 (NIV) “When he does wrong” – the descendant of David would be punished. King Solomon was not punished with “the rod of men, with floggings inflicted by men”, but we know that Jesus was punished in that manner. Now, why did Jesus say that he was also the “bright morning star”? Where can we read about the “bright morning star” in the Holy Bible? Again, the “angel” of Jesus, Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista exposes the reason for Jesus’ admission. Maestro Evangelista asks: What fortuitous event will happen in the world, to indicate when the “angel” sent by Jesus has come to disclose the identity of the “bright morning star”? “The grave below is all astir to meet you at your coming; it rouses the spirits of the departed to greet you— all those who were leaders in the world; it makes them rise from their thrones— all those who were kings over the nations.” Isaiah 14:9 (NIV) Someone will be revealed. “makes them rise from their thrones” – an event that makes leaders of religions, nations and organizations to be surprised to learn the real identity of this “morning star”. What will they say? “They will all respond, they will say to you, “You also have become weak, as we are; you have become like us.” Isaiah 14:10 (NIV) They will say that their expectations regarding the identity of the "morning star” were very remote from the truth. That they were wrong in their own supposition that the “morning star” was a powerful person, without sin and perfect - only to discover that he was just a man. “All your pomp has been brought down to the grave, along with the noise of your harps; maggots are spread out beneath you and worms cover you.” Isaiah 14:11 (NIV) “worms cover you” – this “morning star” died - did not rise again , contrary to everyone’s belief. Who is he? “How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!” Isaiah 14:12 (NIV) This is everyone’s reaction when the “angel” of Jesus divulges the real identity of the “morning star” and makes it known to the people of the world. “How you have fallen from heaven” - Everyone thought that he is in heaven. Why did he fall? “once laid low the nations” - all the nations were ravaged because of him. And in other versions: King James version (KJV): “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!” Isaiah 14:12 (KJV) In the Tagalog - Ang Biblia (TAB) Version: “Ano't nahulog ka mula sa langit, Oh tala sa umaga, anak ng umaga! Paanong ikaw ay lumagpak sa lupa, ikaw na siyang nagpahina sa mga bansa!” Isaias 14:12 (TAB) "tala sa umaga, anak ng umaga" - in English, Morning star, Son of the Dawn! In the Contemporary English Version (CEV): “You, the bright morning star, have fallen from the sky! You brought down other nations; now you are brought down.” Isaiah 14:12 (CEV) The religions intentionally tried to hide the true identity of the “morning star”. They showed and changed the identity into “Lucifer”, which links with Jesus’ admission in Revelation 22:16. And: “You said in your heart," I will ascend to heaven; I will raise my throne above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the utmost heights of the sacred mountain.” Isaiah 14:13 (NIV) Actually it was Jesus who said in the Holy Bible that: “But from now on, the Son of Man will be seated at the right hand of the mighty God." They all asked, "Are you then the Son of God?" He replied, "You are right in saying I am." Luke 22:69-70 (NIV) Jesus was very ambitious. He wanted to go up to heaven and wanted people to know and accept that he was the “Son of God," What else did Jesus say? “I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.” Isaiah 14:14 (NIV) Jesus really wanted to be like God. Through the deceptions of the religions, people believed that Jesus is a god. He said that he will ascend to the heavens. Is he really in heaven? “But you are brought down to the grave, to the depths of the pit.” Isaiah 14:15 (NIV) As it has been prophesied, he died as a result of the punishment inflicted upon him, for his iniquity. “Those who see you stare at you, they ponder your fate: “Is this the man who shook the earth and made kingdoms tremble,” Isaiah 14:16 (NIV) “Is this the man?” – it speaks of a "man" - meaning the "bright morning star" is not Satan. Everyone will say that this man is the cause of the division and sufferings that we are all experiencing at present! “the man who made the world a desert, who overthrew its cities and would not let his captives go home?” Isaiah 14:17 (NIV) “captives” – those who have placed their faith in Jesus. “All the kings of the nations lie in state, each in his own tomb. But you are cast out of your tomblike a rejected branch; you are covered with the slain, with those pierced by the sword, those who descend to the stones of the pit. Like a corpse trampled underfoot,” Isaiah 14:18-19 (NIV) He died and did not really rise up from the dead. What was his other sign? “you will not join them in burial, for you have destroyed your land and killed your people. The offspring of the wicked will never be mentioned again.” Isaiah 14:20 (NIV) “you will not join them in burial" - Look in the churches, Jesus is still nailed to the cross! Is the “morning star” Satan as told by the religions? “The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.” Revelation 12:9 (NIV) Clearly, there is only one Satan that is also the Dragon, the serpent, and the Devil. Satan is not a "man" as the religions thought it to be. Read again: “He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years.” Revelation 20:2 (NIV) The Holy Bible is consistent regarding the identity of Satan. Who admitted that he is the "morning star?" "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." Revelation 22:16 (NIV) An "angel" or messenger is the one to expose the real Jesus: that he is only the “root and offspring of David” and also the "bright morning star." This is the final revelation of Jesus. For us to know that the Holy Bible is consistent let us read another translation of the same verse: In the Contemporary English Version (CEV): “I am Jesus! And I am the one who sent my angel to tell all of you these things for the churches. I am David's Great Descendant, and I am also the bright morning star.” Revelation 22:16 (CEV) Thus, the true identity of Jesus is revealed in our time, the third day which means the first years of the third millennium. Maestro Evangelista reveals the reason why the world has been deceived for a long time. God told Moses long time ago, that a prophet “like him” (like Moses) would come and it was this prophet who was given by God the task to reveal and explain the Word of God and the Holy Bible. When people listen to those who have not been given authority by God, people are led astray and be continually deceived. Since it is only in our time that the prophet (like Moses) has come, we will only be able to understand the Word of God and the Holy Bible through this prophet’s exposition and elucidation! Is it true that Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista is the prophet sent forth “like Moses?" I will raise up for them a Prophet like you from among their brethren, and will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. Deuteronomy 18:18 (NKJV) “a prophet like you” – God spoke to Moses about the coming of a prophet like him, who would not come from his people (Israelites) in the Middle East. “ will put my words in his mouth” – God will place His Holy Spirit or Word or “the Spirit of Truth” in his mouth! “and He shall speak to them all that I command him” – the coming prophet sent forth “like Moses” will only say what God has given him to say to the people, no more no less. If the people will not listen to his revelations, What does God say about it? And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words, which He speaks in My name, I will require it of him. Deuteronomy 18:19 (NKJV) And it shall be that whoever will not hear My words – if people do not listen to the prophet sent forth like Moses, they are actually ignoring God and His Word. Why? "which He speaks in My name” – in our present time, religions teach falsely in the Name of God. This particular prophet will reveal the Name of God for people to understand the real Word of God. What happens when the people of the world know the true God from the revelations of the prophet sent forth “like Moses?" Now let us read: “The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.” Revelation 22:17 (NIV) “The Spirit” – It is God; He is inviting everyone to drink the “water of life." What or Who is the “water of life” mentioned in the Holy Bible? “O LORD, the hope of Israel, all who forsake you will be put to shame. Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust because they have forsaken the LORD, the spring of living water.” Jeremiah 17:13 (NIV) The “water of life” is God, not Jesus. God is inviting everyone to receive freely the true knowledge about God and His great Commandments. “I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.” Revelation 22:18 (NIV) It is apparent that today, the plagues and various diseases of epidemic proportions are emerging because the religions have added to the Word of God. “Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.” Ecclesiastes 12:12 (NIV) Addition of many other books to the teaching of God in the Holy Bible will only tire out the body! What is worse is that people believed in the religious books that were added! “And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.” Revelation 22:19 (NIV) If we take away teachings from the Word of God, God will take away "from him his share in the tree of life”– This means that if we subtract from the Word of God will not live and enjoy the fullness of life. What is the prophecy regarding “the holy city?" "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.” Isaiah 65:17 (NIV) “new heavens and a new earth” – this is unlike the teachings of the religions promising only a new “heaven,” but without a “new earth.” It is clearly written that this promise will happen on this earth. Why is there a reference to “new heavens and a new earth?" When will it start? “They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.” Revelation 12:11 (NIV) Many followers of the religions have placed little value to their lives on earth, because of the promise of the religions of a second life in heaven. Many people have given up their lives for Jesus expecting to be rewarded with an everlasting life in heaven! When they start to offer their lives in the service of Jesus, what happens? “Therefore rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them! But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.” Revelation 12:12 (NIV) This is the sign that the Devil or Satan would be doing double time to deceive people because he knows that his time is about to end! And when people stop offering their lives after the true identity of Jesus is revealed - that they will no longer be deceived, the reign of Satan ends! Read again in: "Behold, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind.” Isaiah 65:17 (NIV) “new heavens and a new earth” – the good and abundant life for all the people in heaven or on this earth? Obviously, on this earth! “But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to be a delight and its people a joy.” Isaiah 65:18 (NIV) God had promised it before, but no one knew about it then. Why Jerusalem? Why did God choose Jerusalem? “He took the carved Asherah pole he had made and put it in the temple, of which the LORD had said to David and to his son Solomon, "In this temple and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel, I will put my Name forever.” II Kings 21:7 (NIV) God chose Jerusalem as He would place His Name only in Jerusalem. “I will rejoice over Jerusalem and take delight in my people; the sound of weeping and of crying will be heard in it no more.” Isaiah 65:19 (NIV) This was the promise of God to his new people - no more suffering and death from diseases, wars and calamities. No more curse. How will we know that this is already happening on earth? "Never again will there be in it an infant who lives but a few days, or an old man who does not live out his years; he who dies at a hundred will be thought a mere youth; he who fails to reach a hundred will be considered accursed.” Isaiah 65:20 (NIV) “live out his years” – to live one’s life to the fullest here on earth. This is the life full of blessing - a long life, not an everlasting life. “They will build houses and dwell in them; they will plant vineyards and eat their fruit. No longer will they build houses and others live in them, or plant and others eat. For as the days of a tree, so will be the days of my people; my chosen ones will long enjoy the works of their hands.” Isaiah 65:21-22 (NIV) “They will build houses” – they build houses on earth, not in heaven. “they will plant vineyards” – no one can plant vineyards in heaven... “For as the days of a tree” – our lives will be prolonged in this world, not in heaven! “They will not toil in vain or bear children doomed to misfortune; for they will be a people blessed by the LORD, they and their descendants with them.” Isaiah 65:23 (NIV) A blessed life, prosperous and peaceful for the whole world! Will our prayers to God be finally answered? “Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24 (NIV) Yes, God will be with us all, because we are no longer under the power and authority of Satan. Where was God before? He is in heaven! “Do not be quick with your mouth, do not be hasty in your heart to utter anything before God. God is in heaven and you are on earth, so let your words be few.” Ecclesiastes 5:2 (NIV) This time, God will be with His people. What kind of life will it be for us? “The wolf and the lamb will feed together, and the lion will eat straw like the ox, but dust will be the serpent's food. They will neither harm nor destroy on all my holy mountain," says the LORD.” Isaiah 65:24-25 (NIV) Indeed, a peaceful life for all. Do we still need places of worship? “This is what the LORD says: “Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?” Isaiah 66:1 (NIV) There will be no need for places of worship. We will be able to pray directly to God by calling on His Name. It is a one-on-one relationship between God and His people! Thus, when you read about the “new heavens and a new earth” – it speaks of a time when the lives of people will be prolonged and it will happen on this earth, not in heaven. There is no such thing as a second life in heaven. Maestro Evangelista reveals: if a human being dies, will he rise up to live again? “At least there is hope for a tree: If it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its new shoots will not fail. Its roots may grow old in the ground and its stump die in the soil, yet at the scent of water it will bud and put forth shoots like a plant. But man dies and is laid low; he breathes his last and is no more. As water disappears from the sear a riverbed becomes parched and dry, so man lies down and does not rise; till the heavens are no more, men will not awake or be roused from their sleep.” Job 14:7-12 (NIV) “At least there is hope for a tree” – as it was written in Isaiah 65:21, our lives will be as long as those of trees; to eat from the "tree of life”. And when he dies, a human being does not rise up to live again in heaven! Now, we know that no one dies and goes up to heaven. Life in heaven is an empty promise made by people who do not know the Words of God! According to King Solomon, a man of God, when a man dies will he live again? “And I saw something else under the sun: In the place of judgment—wickedness was there, in the place of justice—wickedness was there.” Ecclesiastes 3:16 (NIV) “judgment” – one must see both sides of the matter, the truth from the lie and the good from the bad. “I thought in my heart, "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed.” I also thought, “As for men, God tests them so that they may see that they are like the animals. Man’s fate is like that of the animals; the same fate awaits them both: As one dies, so dies the other. All have the same breath; man has no advantage over the animal. Everything is meaningless.” Ecclesiastes 3:17-19 (NIV) Man has intellect that sets him different from the animals. He was given dominion over animals but not to use them for food. Aside from these, man is no different from the animals. The religions teach and say that when man dies, he goes to heaven or to hell depending on his “state of grace” when he passes away. Based on King Solomon’s revelation, the religions should also be teaching that when animals die they go to heaven or hell as well, since men and animals are similar. In fact, they were both created on the 5th and 6th day of creation. “All go to the same place; all come from dust, and to dust all return. Who knows if the spirit of man rises upward and if the spirit of the animal goes down into the earth?” Ecclesiastes 3:20-21 (NIV) There is no place for man to go when he dies, he remains in the earth. What is the conclusion? “So I saw that there is nothing better for a man than to enjoy his work, because that is his lot. For who can bring him to see what will happen after him?” Ecclesiastes 3:22 (NIV) The heaven that was promised by the religions to mankind is not true! There is no heaven for man when he dies. He is intended to be born in this world and die in this world. God gave the earth to man. God wanted man to enjoy his life on earth and to make the very best for himself. This is the deception that made man give little importance to his life on earth. The hope for a second life in heaven as promised by the religions is a hoax. However, it is also the fault of man that he allowed himself to be deceived by the religions into believing in a second life in heaven. A believer would give up his life on earth because he was hoping for a better life in heaven. This second life in heaven is not true. It is a trickery and a fraud. This is one of the greatest deceptions on mankind. Based on the concept of the “tree of life”, our lives will be prolonged if we do not add nor take away from the teachings of God. What else should we know at this time? “He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.” Revelation 22:20 (NIV) “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen – Who is coming? “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” Revelation 1:8 (NIV) God is the One who is coming, not Jesus as taught by the religions. What is the proof? “Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under his wings. Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty, who was, and is, and is to come.” Revelation 4:8 (NIV) When the prophet sent forth “like Moses” comes, he will introduce the true God to all the peoples of the world. Through this website, Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista has revealed the Name of God. He now also reveals to all that God is the One who is coming – as it was said in “new heavens and a new earth” minus Satan and his angels and the religions. And we read also that: “He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.” Revelation 22:20-21 (NIV) The prophet sent by God was sent forth like Moses, for he is the only one that was given the authority to explain the real meaning of the revelations of God in the Holy Bible. “Come, Lord Jesus” – based on this, people assume that Jesus will also be coming because the religions say that the Book of Revelations was written by John of Patmos, who according to them, is also a follower of Jesus. Once and for all, Maestro Evangelista will reveal to us the real identity of the writer of the Book of Revelation: “I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, “Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!” Revelation 22:8-9 (NIV) The religions assumed that the author of the book was the man they call "John, the Divine", an apostle They were wrong! The book was written by John of Patmos, who was also a prophet of God. The religions have no authority to interpret the Book of Revelations. Only the prophet of God, sent forth "like Moses" who is also the "angel" sent by Jesus has the authority to explain its real meaning to people of the world. Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista was sent by God as His prophet "like Moses" and by Jesus as his “angel” or messenger. If it is true that Jesus is to come again, why is there a need for Jesus to send an “angel?" Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista explains the real meaning of this revelation. He asks us to use our wisdom and understanding, in determining who is really coming. Is it Jesus or his "angel" or Messenger? What did Jesus say, when he was still alive, regarding the coming of the “angel” who will explain the phrase “Come, Lord Jesus?" “And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father.” John 14:13 (NIV) “in my name” - in the name “Jesus,” not the physical person of Jesus. Why “in my name"? Did Jesus fulfill the mission that is in his name? “You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.” John 14:14 (NIV) “in my name” – what is the meaning of the name “Jesus”? “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 (NIV) His mission was in his name, to “save his people from their sins” - to save his people, Israel in his time. Is it really true that his mission was to save his people? “He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Matthew 15:24 (NIV) “Jesus” – meaning, the savior of his people, Israel - “save his people from their sins." Jesus was specifically sent by God only to save his people, Israel, from their sins to God. Jesus was not sent by God to save the people of the whole world from sin! Was he able to fulfill his mission of saving his people which is the meaning of his name “Jesus”? “The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place.” Luke 24:20-21 (NIV) The name “Jesus” that was given to him as his mission was not fulfilled. He died early in life without saving his people from their sins to God. Continue reading in: "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever –“ John 14:15-16 (NIV) It means that since Jesus was not able to fulfill the mission that was in his name, he asked God for "another Counselor" to take up his unfinished mission! And when the “Counselor” comes, will he be accepted? “the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.” John 14:17 (NIV) “the Spirit of truth” – the teaching that the “Counselor” brings will not be accepted at first, because Jesus has overturned the teachings of God. “The world cannot accept him” – the revelations of the “Counselor” run counter to the accepted teachings of the religions which the followers of the religions accept as fact. "But you know him” – as you are reading the revelations of Maestro Evangelista right now. Who is the “Counselor” who bears the “Spirit of Truth” that Jesus has sent and who will reveal to people that Jesus is the “root and offspring of David” and also the “bright morning star?" Is it true that only the name “Jesus” will return and not him personally? “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:26 (NIV) What do we mean by the “Holy Spirit?" “and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus” Acts 1:16 (NIV) It is written the Holy Spirit spoke through the mouth of David and we read again in... “You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David: " 'Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain?” Acts 4:25 (NIV) What is the Holy Spirit that spoke through the mouth of David, let us read in: “These are the last words of David: "The oracle of David son of Jesse, the oracle of the man exalted by the Most High, the man anointed by the God of Jacob, Israel's singer of songs: "The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; his word was on my tongue.” II Samuel 23:1-2 (NIV) The “Holy Spirit” is simply the Word of God. The “Counselor” that Jesus asked from God is the same prophet that was sent forth “like Moses”, the man who received the Word of God that was placed on his mouth! The “angel” and the “Counselor” of Jesus is the same prophet that was mentioned by God in Deuteronomy 18:18-19! “will remind you of everything I have said to you” – no one has the authority to explain all the things that Jesus has said, except Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista, the “angel” and the "Counselor” sent by Jesus! That is why when it was said “Come. Lord Jesus”, Jesus is no longer coming physically, but the “angel” who is also the “Counselor,” will come to reveal everything about Jesus. A special mission to continue the unfulfilled mission of Jesus, to save his people, Israel, from their sins to God! What is the proof? When Jesus failed in his mission, another man who holds the key of David will come. “To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.” Revelation 3:7 (NIV) “the key of David” – the mission that was given to the house of David to save the people of Israel was not fulfilled: first, it was supposed to be by King Solomon, then second, it was supposed to be by Jesus. They both failed. Now God has sent another prophet who holds the “key of David” – meaning that he has the authority from God to reveal the real meanings of the prophecies to the people of Israel. There is no one in the whole world who has the authority regarding God and the Word of God in the Holy Bible, except Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista – to whom God has placed His Word on his mouth as written in Deuteronomy 18:18-19! “I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.” Revelation 3:8 (NIV) The holder of the “key of David” is the only one who has not denied the Name of God. This is why we have learned the real Name of God though his revelation in this website! All others have denied the Name of God. Maestro Evangelista is the only one who bears the Name of God that was unknown to the whole world until it was revealed here. “I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are liars—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you.” Revelation 3:9 (NIV) The reason why the “angel” or the “Counselor” was sent by God in Jesus’ name (to save the people of Israel from their sins to God) is to redeem or save them from the power of Satan. When Jesus failed in his mission, Jesus became the “office holder” of Satan’s domain and was in the service of Satan. However, his name “Jesus” still remains unfulfilled. With the coming of the “angel” (sent by Jesus) who also has the "key of David" (the promise of God to David) the people of Israel may be set free at last from the “synagogue of Satan”. If they heed the revelations that are being given to them by the “angel” they may be saved from their sins to God. Thus, the name “Jesus” will be finally fulfilled to them. They are the ones who will have to "free" themselves from Satan’s power by listening to the prophet sent forth by God. If they do not listen, they will not be able to return to God and will be cursed forever. And: “Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth.” Revelation 3:10 (NIV) At present, the world is in disarray: many wars, disasters and plagues happening in many parts of the world, one after the other. The last prophet sent by God has come. How soon will God come? “I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” Revelation 3:11 (NIV) That is why Maestro Evangelista is making this exposition available on the internet (24/7/365) for everyone to read and understand. What is God’s promise to those who will acknowledge Him? “Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name.” Revelation 3:12 (NIV) “temple of my God” – meaning, the true God. “I will write on him the name of my God” – you may note that it is only at this time that the people of the world know about God and His Name. This is only possible because the prophet, who bears Name of God and holds the “key of David”, has come. “the new Jerusalem” – a new city; not the old Jerusalem. “coming down out of heaven from my God” – as promised by God. “I will also write on him my new name” – the new name of Jesus. Why? “The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John, who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ. Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.” Revelation 1:1-3 (NIV) “Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy” – only one is authorized to read the words of the prophecy. He is the prophet of God, Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista. “and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart” – those who learn and heed the revelations of Maestro Evangelista, including the people reading this right now. Why? “because the time is near” – for the fulfillment of the prophecies and the coming of God. The prophet like Moses, who has the Word of God in his mouth has come. The time of fulfillment of the prophecies will happen soon and God will come soon as well. Is the time really near? How could these wars and disasters be prevented? “And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, that the wind should not blow on the sea, nor on any tree. And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea. Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.” Revelation 7:1-3 (KJV) “four angels standing on the four corners of the earth” – these "angels" are symbolic of the United Nations (UN), the world organization. What does the “wind” symbolizes? “Then I said, “Alas, Sovereign LORD! How completely you have deceived this people and Jerusalem by saying, ‘You will have peace,’ when the sword is at our throats!” At that time this people and Jerusalem will be told, “A scorching wind from the barren heights in the desert blows toward my people, but not to winnow or cleanse; a wind too strong for that comes from me. Now I pronounce my judgments against them.” Look! He advances like the clouds, his chariots come like a whirlwind, his horses are swifter than eagles. Woe to us! We are ruined!” Jeremiah 4:10-13 (NIV) “holding the four winds of the earth” – means the United Nations (UN) symbolically trying to hold back wars, conflicts, and confrontation among nations that are presently happening in many parts of the world. “another angel ascending from the east” – the "angel" is the last prophet of God, the prophet sent forth like Moses who is from the Far East, the Philippines. “having the seal of the living God” – the "angel" bears the seal of the living God. What is the meaning of "the seal of the living God" that the "another angel" will put on their foreheads? “No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.” Revelation 22:3-4 (NIV) Maestro Evangelista says that seal of the living God that the "another angel" will place on the foreheads of people is the Name of God! The prophet sent forth "like Moses," through his revelations, will try to prevent wars and disasters by making the Name of God known to the people of the world. If the Name of God is known by the peoples of the world, they will turn to God, call on His Name and repent and ask forgiveness for their sins. The people themselves will see that there is no more reason to fight one another, or fight with other people because all will be calling on the same and only true Name of God; thus wars and conflicts will be prevented from happening again and we will all have everlasting peace. One people, one world and One God! Since many people have already been reading the revelations of Maestro (Teacher) Evangelista and most of them have known the real Name of God in this website, (note: referring then to the website www.thename.ph) then the "another angel" or Maestro Evangelista is already in the process of doing his job in sealing (symbolically) the foreheads of people with the seal of the living God (the Name of God). *THE RELIGIONS CLAIM THAT THE WORLD IS COMING TO AN END. Maestro Evangelista says that the world will not end because God is coming. Is it true? “Generations come and generations go, but the earth remains forever.” Ecclesiastes 1:4 (NIV) Maestro Evangelista asks: if God is coming, why would people want to go to heaven as taught by the religions? *WHAT MAKES SATAN SO SUCCESSFUL IN DECEIVING PEOPLE In the following portion of this article, Maestro Evangelista reveals why Satan was so successful in deceiving people: “The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread." Luke 4:3 (NIV) The Devil knew that Jesus was not a real son of God. Otherwise he would not have tempted Jesus to turn the stone into bread. How did Jesus answer the Devil? “Jesus answered, It is written: ‘Man does not live on bread alone.’" Luke 4:4 (NIV) Jesus used verses from the Holy Bible. Is it really written in the Holy Bible? “He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.” Deuteronomy 8:3 (NIV) It is written indeed. What did the Devil do next? ‘The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. So if you worship me, it will all be yours."’ Luke 4:5-7 (NIV) This was the offer of Satan to Jesus, and the deal was for Jesus to obey or worship the Devil in return. Jesus was silent about the claim made by the Devil. What was Jesus’ answer? “Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.’ " Luke 4:8 (NIV) Was the answer given by Jesus written in the Holy Bible? “Declare what is to be, present it—let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. “Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. By myself I have sworn, my mouth has uttered in all integrity a word that will not be revoked: Before me every knee will bow; by me every tongue will swear. They will say of me, ‘In the LORD alone are righteousness and strength.’” All who have raged against him will come to him and be put to shame. But in the LORD all the descendants of Israel will be found righteous and will exult.” Isaiah 45:21-25 (NIV) It is written. Every knee should bow to God, not to Jesus as taught by the religions! Another deception made by the religions. What did the Devil again do? “The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here.” Luke 4:9 (NIV) The devil was asking Jesus to jump from the top... “For it is written: “'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' " Luke 4:10-11 (NIV) "For it is written" - since Jesus answered the Devil using passages in the Holy Bible, the Devil, in turn, also used passages to challenge him. What was Jesus’ answer? “Jesus answered, "It says: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' " Luke 4:12 (NIV) The religions claim that since Jesus was alone talking to the Devil, he was referring to himself as the “Lord your God." To continue: “When the devil had finished all this tempting, he left him until an opportune time.” Luke 4:13 (NIV) The Devil did not stop tempting Jesus. It says here that the devil only left him until the next opportunity arises when the Devil may tempt Jesus again. Going back to Luke 4:9: “The devil led him to Jerusalem and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. "If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down from here.” Luke 4:9 (NIV) The devil was asking Jesus to jump from the top, intentionally. “For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' Luke 4:10-11 (NIV) Is this verse also written in the Holy Bible? For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways; they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' Psalm 91:11-12 NIV “that you will not strike your foot against a stone” – which means, to accidentally stumble. So it is clear that the style of deception by the Devil is to read what is written but interpreting or giving it a different or twisted meaning. Jesus was merely saying to the Devil not to “tempt” or distort what is written according to the Word of God. Did Jesus use the same style as the Devil/Satan, let us read Matthew 22:41-46 “While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, "What do you think about the Christ? Whose son is he?" "The son of David," they replied. He said to them, "How is it then that David, speaking by the Spirit, calls him 'Lord'? For he says, " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet." 'If then David calls him 'Lord,' how can he be his son?" No one could say a word in reply, and from that day on no one dared to ask him any more questions.” Matthew 22:41-46 (NIV) Jesus was implying that King David was referring to him as “Lord.” Is the verse really written in the Holy Bible? “The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." Psalm 110:1 (NIV) Yes, David was the one speaking here. But was he really referring to Jesus here as “Lord?” Let us analyze how David talked with God. “Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge. I said to the LORD, "You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing." Psalm 16:1-2 (NIV) And in another version: “Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;” Psalm 16:1-2 (KJV) It was David himself who was praying to God, not to Jesus. How did King David talk with God? “Then King David went in and sat before the LORD, and he said: "Who am I, O Sovereign LORD, and what is my family, that you have brought me this far? And as if this were not enough in your sight, O Sovereign LORD, you have also spoken about the future of the house of your servant. Is this your usual way of dealing with man, O Sovereign LORD? "What more can David say to you? For you know your servant, O Sovereign LORD.” II Samuel 7:18-20 (NIV) “What more can David say to you?” – David was referring to himself as “David.” He referred to himself in the third person as his way of showing his humility before God. Clearly, David was not referring here to Jesus as "Lord." Also, when he said “The LORD says to my Lord” in Psalm 110:1 David was addressing himself as Lord since he was a king. He was talking with God, the LORD of Lords! Again in the passage Psalm 110:1 we can read: “The LORD says to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet." Psalm 110:1 (NIV) Were the enemies of David really placed under his feet? “Solomon sent back this message to Hiram: "You know that because of the wars waged against my father David from all sides, he could not build a temple for the Name of the LORD his God until the LORD put his enemies under his feet.” I Kings 5:2-3 (NIV) Truly the enemies of David were in fact placed under David’s feet. Truly Psalm 110, verse 1 referred to the enemies of David being placed under David’s feet and not Jesus’ enemies being placed under Jesus’ feet. As revealed to us by Maestro Evangelista, Jesus turned into a “deceiver”. He wanted his people to believe in him as the “Son of God." Up to this time, this particular passage (Matthew 22:41-46) is still being used by the Christians in order to inspire awe upon the people and make them followers of Jesus and their religion. How about the disciples of Jesus? How did they teach about Jesus during their time? "We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree,” Acts 10:39 (NIV) They said Jesus was hanged on a tree?! Here Jesus’ disciples were testifying that Jesus was hanged on a tree! In their confusion after saying that Jesus was hung on a tree, would they correct themselves of their error? What did they say about Jesus death? “The God of our fathers raised Jesus from the dead -whom you had killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins to Israel.” Acts 5:30-31 (NIV) They continued with their lies. They maintained that Jesus was hung on a tree. Where would they take Jesus down from? “When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the tree and laid him in a tomb.” Acts 13:29 (NIV) "they took him down from the tree" – the apostles became good at lying to people, and eventually deceived the whole world. Were there obvious inconsistencies made by the disciples of Jesus’ regarding their teachings on Jesus? Regarding the manner of Judas’ death: “So Judas threw the money into the temple and left. Then he went away and hanged himself.” Matthew 27:5 (NIV) The writer of the book of Matthew said that Judas hanged himself because of remorse. In another book written by another disciple of Jesus: “With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there he fell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out.” Acts 1:18 (NIV) This time, another passage says that Judas had an accident and died! The two verses clearly contradict each other, much like the teachings of the religions on Jesus’ true nature. And what does the Holy Bible say about Jesus’ disciples, the apostles? “I know your deeds, your hard work and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false.” Revelation 2:2 (NIV) The contradicting teachings of the apostles of Jesus only confirmed what the Holy Bible has revealed about the teachings of the apostles on Jesus’ life and works – that they all were false. In order to learn the real truth about God and His Word, we should only read what the Prophets of God had revealed in the books of the Holy Bible: not from the books written by Jesus’ apostles and followers in the New Testament. Only the man who was sent by God will be able to show the true meaning of the Word of God in the Holy Bible, he is Maestro Eraño Martin Evangelista. He says that it is time that all the people from all nations consult with him regarding these turbulent times. Learning about the true God, the Name of God, the real Jesus and understanding the Word of God from the Holy Bible and the revelations of the prophet of God will give the world a chance for salvation. God may withhold the “Great and Terrible Day of the Lord” if we all call on His (God’s) Name, repent, and ask forgiveness for our sins! |
