In Part 4, we have learned how the Bible revelation of the late Teacher Evangelista regarding Jesus was consistent with Jesus' admission in Revelation 22:16.
In the said Bible verse, Jesus spoke about an angel or messenger whom he has sent to testify about him as only an offspring of David (prophesied in 2 Samuel 7:12-14) and not a direct Son of God, and that he (Jesus) was the prophesied “morning star” in Isaiah 14 verses 9 to 20.
This proves that Teacher Evangelista was never an enemy of Jesus but rather the man sent by God to proclaim the real identity of Jesus to the whole world.
Here in Part 5, we will learn from whom Jesus received power; the power to heal, the power to drive out demons, and perform miracles.
Let us begin by reading Luke 4 verses 3 to 7.
The devil said to him, "If you are the Son of God, tell this stone to become bread." Luke 4:3 NIV This was an important episode in Jesus' life which the religions have not understood.
The Devil challenged Jesus to turn the stone into bread; the Devil has the power to turn the stone into bread. Jesus did not have the power to do it, simply because he was a man. The Devil knew him fully, that he was not a "son of God."
If Jesus was indeed a “son of God,” the Devil need not ask Jesus to prove it; that would have been an insult. How did Jesus answer the Devil? Let us read Luke 4 verse 4.
Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone.' " Luke 4:4 NIV
Jesus answered the Devil indirectly, as if he had said he can’t turn the stone into bread. The Devil knew he didn’t have power, and that is why the Devil made an offer:
The devil led him up to a high place and showed him in an instant all the kingdoms of the world. And he said to him, "I will give you all their authority and splendor, for it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. Luke 4:5 to 6 NIV
Satan (Devil) won over Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden and the couple was banished, not Satan; that is why the world was given to Satan. If that was not true, Jesus would have corrected the Devil of its claim.
It was the Devil who promised the world to Jesus, with a condition. What was it? Let us read in Luke 4 verse 7.
So if you worship me, it will all be yours." Luke 4:7 NIV
Question: How do we know that Jesus accepted the offer and in turn worshipped the Devil?
Answer: First, we need to know how to worship God, and also find out the manner of worshiping Satan; we will do this to determine if we are worshipping the true God or worshipping Satan.
We will share how the late Teacher Evangelista has shown us the two sides, the teaching of God against the teaching of Satan.
Let us first learn the way to worship God. Let us begin our reading in Ecclesiastes 12 verse 12.
Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body. Ecclesiastes 12:12 NIV.
It is written that too much studying regarding the word of God has made us weary. When we go to religious or non-religious bookstores, we find plenty of books regarding Jesus and other teachings of the religions.
We already know that Jesus never fulfilled his mission and he died not for our sins, but for his own iniquities, contrary to the teachings of the religions. We have come to realize that all the teachings that we have learned about Jesus have been proven false; in other words, we have wasted our time and effort in a belief that is not true.
Let us discover what we should have read regarding God so that we will not be weary in the end? Let us read in Isaiah 34 verse 16.
‘Look in the scroll of the LORD and read: None of these will be missing, not one will lack her mate. For it is his mouth that has given the order, and his Spirit will gather them together.’ Isaiah 34:16 NIV
It is clearly specified that we should only have to read about God in the books of the Old Testament, from the prophets whom God had given His secrets, for these books are enough.
But the religions made the books of the New Testament that had been centered on the teachings of the apostles of Jesus, who had no right and authority to speak about God and even to speak on behalf of Jesus.
The result was the greatest hoax - confusion and deception - ever made in the history of mankind!
The teachings of the religions are really far from the truth; they let you worship Jesus who is not god nor a “son of God” but just a "man;" who failed to fulfill his mission and was punished for his iniquities.
Let us now learn about the manner of worshipping God. In Ecclesiastes 12 verse 13 we can read:
‘Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.’ Ecclesiastes 12:13 NIV
The manner of worshipping God is to fear Him and obey the commandments; this is the whole duty of man.
For us to understand it better let us read again in Deuteronomy 11 verses 26 to 28.
See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse- Deuteronomy 11:26 NIV
God had placed before us, a blessing and a curse. We were given a choice and therefore we are the ones responsible for choosing the kind of life we live in this world.
Let us now continue to Deuteronomy 11 verses 27 to 28.
the blessing if you obey the commands of the LORD your God that I am giving you today; the curse if you disobey the commands of the LORD your God and turn from the way that I command you today by following other gods, which you have not known. Deuteronomy 11:27-28 NIV
We will receive blessings if we will only follow God’s commandments. It’s very simple, obey God. From what we have read in Ecclesiastes 12:13, that the whole duty of man to God is to fear Him and obey the commandments, it is where the blessings can be found.
This also explains why humanity experiences all these sufferings as we live under God’s curse because we have allowed ourselves to be deceived to worship the man Jesus, who was punished by God for his own wrongdoing.
To continue: once we truly fear God and Obey His commandments, what will be our blessing? Let us read in Ecclesiastes 12 verse 14.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:14 NIV
The blessing that God will give to us is the faculty to know and understand the things that were hidden from us: to realize its meaning and to discern the difference between good and evil; to see the difference between the teaching of God and the teaching of Satan.
This gives us the knowledge we need so that we can no longer be deceived by anyone since we now know the two sides of the matter.
With this knowledge and understanding, we can no longer be fooled or deceived. If despite such knowledge we still allow ourselves to be fooled or deceived, it can now be said that the problem is within ourselves.
Let us know how important it is to know the true meaning of “Fear God.”
What do we mean by “Fear God?” Let us read in Proverbs 2 verses 4 to 5.
and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. Proverbs 2:4-5 NIV
If you will seek God as if you would go after a hidden treasure, you will come to find God, the LORD.
What do we mean by “ fear of the LORD?" Let us read in Proverbs 9 verse 10.
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Proverbs 9:10 NIV
“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom” - this is the time we will come to know about God.
“knowledge of the Holy One is understanding” - so that we can say that we fear God and obey His commandments, we should also know the true name of the God whom we fear.
As an example: when a man says that he fears God, and we ask him how many gods there are, he would answer, there is only 'one' God. When asked again, what is the name of the God whom he fears, he doesn’t know the answer - and could only say, there are many names. This is because he doesn’t truly know God.
Is it true that we can say we truly fear God if we know God’s true Name? Let us read in Micah 6 verse 9.
Listen! The Lord is calling to the city-- and to fear your name is wisdom-- “Heed the rod and the One who appointed it. Micah 6:9 NIV
As the passage says: “The Lord is calling to the city—and to fear your name is wisdom.”
We can claim we truly fear God if we know His true Name. To say we fear God and not know His true Name is not wisdom.
Question: what did we fail to exercise which led us to be deceived by false teachings? Let us read in Proverbs 4 verse 7.
Wisdom is supreme; therefore get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 NIV
Wisdom is important, that is why we are sent to good schools and spend fortunes to get a better education, for our knowledge to grow.
But according to Teacher Evangelista, what is crucial is understanding. What is the proof?
We see how great men, scholars, politicians, statesmen, doctors, military officers, presidents, and kings will be led by the religions to pray, to ask help from Jesus when a dreadful event happens. Jesus, who was in his last moments, cried out to God and said: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46, Mark 15:34)
We ask help from a man who cried out that he was forsaken by God- where is the understanding?
What happened to us is that we have plenty of wisdom but no understanding!
When we worshipped the man, Jesus, what will God do to us? God will really forsake us, and this is exactly what is happening to us right now, the curse!
God gave us eyes, ears, and intelligence, among other things, but we did not use them appropriately. Thus we cannot blame God for the misery and the suffering we are experiencing right now.
Let us now discover the difference between the teaching of God and the teaching of Satan, so that we can no longer be deceived…
What is the teaching of God, the manner in which we can say we truly worship God? Let us read in Genesis 2 verses 16 to 17.
And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." Genesis 2:16-17 NIV
We can read how a decree was given to Adam, it is up to Adam whether to obey or not; “free will” was emphasized. He may eat all of the fruits in the garden, except one. To worship God we have to obey His commandments.
What about Satan's teaching? Let us read in Genesis 3 verse 1 to 4.
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" Genesis 3:1 NIV
The serpent was talking to Eve, asking her regarding what God had told Adam about the prohibition of eating the particular fruit in the garden.
The serpent was misleading the woman, contradicting what God has said: they may eat all, except the forbidden fruit.
What did the woman say to the serpent? Let us continue in Genesis 3 verses 2 to 3.
The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " Genesis 3:2-3 NIV
This is the way to worship God, obey His commandments. What did the serpent say to Eve? Let us read in Genesis 3 verse 4.
"You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. Genesis 3:4 NIV
For the first time, it has been revealed by Teacher Evangelista, that the way to worship the serpent/Satan is to go against the teaching of God! This is the work of Satan; to go against God’s Commandments and to teach it to others.
Can we really change the Commandments of God? Is it allowed? Let us read in Deuteronomy 4 verse 2.
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you. Deuteronomy 4:2 NIV
It is not allowed! What was given in the law is the law; there is a punishment for breaking it. If one is to alter or overturn the law and teach it to others, he will be terribly cursed.
Let us now compare the two teachings.
Let us read a commandment that if we obey, we will be blessed; it is one of the secrets of having a long and peaceful life…In Deuteronomy 5 verse 16 we can read:
"Honor your father and your mother, as the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live long and that it may go well with you in the land the LORD your God is giving you. Deuteronomy 5:16 NIV
"Honor your father and your mother" - If we obey this commandment, the blessing is that we will live long and prosper.
Teacher Evangelista once said: respect your father and mother. One of the reasons why we have to respect them is that our parents, next to God, are our creator. To honor and respect our parents is to honor God, the Almighty Creator.
Now should we see a teaching that is contradictory to God’s teaching, that is “Hate your father and mother,” we can say that is Satan’s teaching.
Let us now discover the man who taught in the manner of Satan? In Luke 14 verses 25 to 26 we can read:
Large crowds were traveling with Jesus, and turning to them he said: "If anyone comes to me and does not hate his father and mother, his wife and children, his brothers and sisters – yes, even his own life - he cannot be my disciple. Luke 14:25-26 NIV
It was Jesus! He has taught according to the teaching of Satan! This is the proof that Jesus did accept the offer of Satan, and the deal was for Jesus to go against and overturn God’s commandments. Similar to the way the serpent overturned God's decree in the garden.
To prove again that Jesus worshipped Satan, let us read another commandment which Jesus overturned, (though according to Teacher Evangelista, Jesus did go against all of God’s commandments). Let us read Deuteronomy 19 verses 19 to 20.
then do to him as he intended to do to his brother. You must purge the evil from among you. The rest of the people will hear of this and be afraid, and never again will such an evil thing be done among you. Deuteronomy 19:19-20 NIV
And how shall we deal with those who violate the law? Let us read in Deuteronomy 19 verse 21.
Show no pity: life for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot. Deuteronomy 19:21 NIV
We should show no pity; so that evil will not proliferate… all will fear the Law. Did Jesus know about this law? If he had violated this commandment and knew nothing of it, his punishment would have been light. Did he not know of this Commandment?
Let us read in Matthew 5:38 to 44.
"You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' Matthew 5:38 NIV
He knows about this commandment, and what will he teach men about it, did he uphold the Law? Let us read Matthew 5 verse 39.
But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. Matthew 5:39 NIV
He openly defied the Law! He had broken the commandment, went against it and taught it to the people.
He taught the people not to resist evil and the oppressors.
This is one of the reasons why evil is proliferating in this world! Jesus went against God’s teaching and Commandment and had worshipped Satan.
Let us now read Matthew 5 verses 40 to 41.
And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Matthew 5:40-41 NIV
He was telling us not to go against our oppressors… In Matthew 5 verse 42.
Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you. Matthew 5:42 NIV
We are asked to give in to those who deceive us; what else did Jesus tell us to do? Let us read Matthew 5 verses 43 to 44. “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, Matthew 5:43-44 NIV
With this kind of teaching, whose side was Jesus on? He was conniving with or even tolerating the evildoers, oppressors, and the cheaters!
What does the commandment concerning “eye for eye, tooth for tooth” really mean?
Let us read in Psalm 18 verses 24 to 27.
‘The LORD has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight. To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless you show yourself blameless, to the pure you show yourself pure, but to the crooked you show yourself shrewd. You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty.’ Psalm 18:24-27 NIV
This is the teaching God wants us to observe in our daily lives, so that we may not be oppressed and exploited. We should do to them what they intend to do to us, so that they may know that we will not tolerate their wrongdoings.
In our present generation, the world is in turmoil; wars, death, famine and diseases. We are led by the religions to believe that Satan is the one doing it. Satan should be the one who must admit it, but did Satan cause all of these? The world prays to Jesus for peace to come, but the more they pray to him, the condition of the world gets worse than it was before! Why are we not answered favorably?
What did Jesus bring to the world, is it peace according to the religions? Let us read in Luke 12 verse 49 to 53. Starting with verse 49.
"I have come to bring fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! Luke 12:49 NIV
Jesus was the man who brought trouble (fire) into the world, it was no longer Satan! Satan had transferred its power and authority to Jesus. Now reading Luke 12 verse 50.
But I have a baptism to undergo, and how distressed I am until it is completed! Luke 12:50 NIV
“baptism” - He was to die, as punishment for his iniquities, because he went against God.
“distressed” – he was scared that he had to suffer the punishment as prophesied and died of it.
The religions say Jesus had brought peace to the world. Let us hear Jesus’ words in Luke 12 verse 51. Do you think I came to bring peace on earth? No, I tell you, but division. From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. Luke 12:51 NIV
Jesus did not bring peace; he caused all the troubles from the day he came to his people and spawned evil in the world! What kind of division did he cause?
Let us read Luke 12 verses 52 to 53.
From now on there will be five in one family divided against each other, three against two and two against three. They will be divided, father against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law." Luke 12:52-53.
That is why even in our homes, there is division. We have a family with its members belonging to different churches and religions, yet they all call on Jesus just the same.
Question: Before Jesus died, to whom did he transfer the power and authority that he had received from the Devil? Let us read in Luke 9 verses 1 to 2.
When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. Luke 9:1-2 NIV
This is the continuation of the deception that started in the Garden of Eden. After Jesus’ death, the apostles continued the deception by using the power and authority to drive out all demons, to cure diseases, and to preach the kingdom of God.
Question: to whom did the apostles transfer their power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases and to preach the kingdom of God?
Answer: Teacher Evangelista once said: When a church has cured you of your sickness, through “pray overs” and other rituals will you go against its teaching? This is the manner in which the apostles continued on with the deception. They promise you the kingdom of God, without telling you the Name of God. This would only mean that in our current era, the deception is now being done by the religions.
This is the final deception in the world.
What will happen to them (religions) in the end? Let us read Revelation 12 verse 9. The great dragon was hurled down - that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him. Revelation 12:9 NIV
"was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him." - Who are the angels of Satan? They are the religions! This prophecy is now nearing its fulfillment.
The religions will be exposed that they do not belong to God.
Question: Is it true that Jesus resurrected from the dead? We will learn that in Part 6 of our series.
