Here in Part 8, we will learn how Jesus spoke about the coming of Teacher Eraño Martin Evangelista, the man whom God chose to fulfill his (Jesus) unfinished mission and as God’s last true prophet.
In our previous articles we learned that Jesus has been dead for two millennia, is no longer coming, and said that he had sent an angel or messenger to testify his real identity as only a descendant of King David and as the prophesied bright morning star.
However, If we read Revelation 22 verses 20 to 21
He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen. Revelation 22:20-21 NIV
Readers will suppose that Jesus is going to return. This is what led many people to believe what religious pastors and priests preach that Jesus will indeed return.
Question: when a man dies, will he live again?
Answer: Let us read in Job 14 verses 10 to 12.
'But man dies and is laid low; he breathes his last and is no more. As water disappears from the sea or a riverbed becomes parched and dry, so man lies down and does not rise; till the heavens are no more, men will not awake or be roused from their sleep.' Job 14:10-12 NIV
From the said passage, we can understand that no matter what the religions have promised to the people of the world, those who have passed away are forever laid to rest. There is no resurrection of the dead and therefore Jesus died long ago and is no longer returning.
Question: If Jesus is no longer coming then why does Revelation 22 verses 20 to 21 still mention “Come, Lord Jesus?”
Answer: Let us read and understand what Jesus said while he was still alive.
In John 14 verses 14 to 16 we can read:
You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. "If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever - John 14:14-16 NIV
Jesus spoke of "another Counselor." he was talking about the coming of another person.
"to be with you forever" - Jesus failed in his mission, as prophesied in 2nd Samuel 7:12-14. If he were successful, he would be “forever,” meaning he will be remembered for his work. Since he failed, another man will come to continue the mission and this man’s accomplishment will be cherished“forever or for all generations to come.”
Question: what does Jesus mean when he said to ask in “his name?”
The late Teacher Evangelista once explained the reason why Jesus said “in his name.” is that his name “Jesus” has a meaning. It signifies the task that God has sent him to accomplish.
As an example, Moses - how was he named?
When the child grew older, she took him to Pharaoh's daughter and he became her son. She named him Moses, saying, "I drew him out of the water." Exodus 2:10 NIV
This was the name given to him, and what was his mission for God?
And God said, "I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain." Exodus 3:12 NIV
This is the mission of Moses from God, which is also the meaning of his name, "I drew him out of the water."
Moses’ mission is to lead his people out of Egypt and to accomplish that, he must follow God’s instructions.
Since he was able to lead his people out of Egypt by crossing the waters that God had separated, Moses proved himself as the man sent by God to lead his people out of bondage / slavery in Egypt
In the case of Jesus, let us read in Matthew 1 verse 21.
She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." Matthew 1:21 NIV
The name Jesus means, “he will save his people from their sins.”
The task of Jesus is to lead his people into knowing the Name of God so they will be saved from their sins.
Now who are his people? Was he sent for all men? Let us read Matthew 15 verse 24.
He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." Matthew 15:24 NIV
Jesus was sent specifically to the people of Israel. He was not sent to all the people of the world.
Jesus died for his sins; for pretending and making people believe that he is the "Son of God" and had put up his own church. He did not follow God, and he was cursed.
Did he save his people? Did his people know he is the man that would save them?
What did the people say about him when he died?
Let us read in Luke 24 verses 20 to 21.
The chief priests and our rulers handed him over to be sentenced to death, and they crucified him; but we had hoped that he was the one who was going to redeem Israel. And what is more, it is the third day since all this took place. Luke 24:20-21 NIV
True, his people hoped that he would have saved them.
Question: Is it true that when the people of Israel know the Name of God and call on His Name, they will be forgiven by God? Let us read in Psalm 25 verses 10 to 11.
‘All the ways of the Lord are loving and faithful toward those who keep the demands of his covenant. For the sake of your name, Lord, forgive my iniquity, though it is great.’ Psalm 25:10-11 NIV
God will forgive the Jews for their sins if they acknowledge and call on His true Name.
Is it true that Jesus’ task is to introduce the Name of God? In John 17 verses 25 to 26 we can read:
“Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know you, and they know that you have sent me. I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love you have for me may be in them and that I myself may be in them.” John 17:25-26 NIV
If we read the same Bible verses in the new King James version:
O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” John 17:25-26 NKJV
The question is – what is the Name of God that Jesus taught or declared to his fellow Jews?
The answer is NONE, therefore failing to accomplish the task which is in the meaning of his name.
We can fully understand now that when Jesus said, “in his name” he was referring to the task to save His people Israel from their sins.
Let us read again John 14 verse 14 up to verse 17.
‘You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it. If you love me, you will obey what I command. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever- the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.’ John 14:14-17 NIV
“The Spirit of truth” – the sign of the man who is called the“Counselor” will come and reveal the truth about God and also the truth about Jesus.
"The world cannot accept him" - Many people will not accept or believe Teacher Evangelista at first since the religions have deceived all and made them believe that Jesus is the "only son of God" and will return.
"will be in you" - the “Counselor” will surely come in Jesus’ name. He will bring the truth to bear testimony on Jesus as written in the Holy Bible.
Is it true that the Counselor will come in the name of Jesus -which means to continue the unfinished task of Jesus?
Let us read in John 14 verse 26.
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26 NIV
It is true, God sent Teacher Evangelista to continue the unfinished task of Jesus and that is “to save his people from their sins.” He is not an enemy of Jesus nor will he discredit Jesus.
This now answers why in Revelation 22:20-21 it says “Come Lord Jesus.” It is not Jesus who will return but the “angel or messenger” whom Jesus referred to as the “Counselor “ when he was still alive. He is the one who will accomplish the unfinished task in the meaning of the name “Jesus.”
Let us read again in John 14 verse 26.
But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. John 14:26 NIV
“But the COUNSELOR, the Holy Spirit,”- Jesus said that the coming Counselor is the Holy Spirit; for a long time, Christians were led into believing that Jesus was referring to a different entity. Although this was already revealed in Part 1 of our series, let us again learn the truth concerning this matter:
In Acts 1 verse 16 we can read:
and said, "Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through the mouth of David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus - Acts 1:16 NIV
According to the passage, the Holy Spirit spoke through the mouth of David.
Let us read another Bible passage about it in Acts 4 verse 25.
You spoke by the Holy Spirit through the mouth of your servant, our father David: " 'Why do the nations rage and the peoples plot in vain? Acts 4:25 NIV
The passage consistently says that the “Holy Spirit” spoke through King David.
Let us determine the true meaning of the Holy Spirit that spoke through the mouth of David in 2nd Samuel 23 verses 1 to 2:
These are the last words of David: "The oracle of David son of Jesse, the oracle of the man exalted by the Most High, the man anointed by the God of Jacob, Israel's singer of songs: "The Spirit of the LORD spoke through me; his word was on my tongue. II Samuel 23:1-2 NIV
The meaning of the Holy Spirit is simply the Word of God and not the third person of the trinity as the religions have assumed and taught their followers.
Only in our present time that the true meaning of the Holy Spirit had been answered.
We can now understand: the Holy Spirit that spoke through the mouth of David was the Word of God given to David. Spirit, meaning word - the reason it is called Holy, is that it is from God. That is why when we say Holy Spirit; we are saying the Word of God.
Is it true that the Holy Spirit only means the word of God that was put into the mouth of God’s prophet? In Isaiah 59 verse 21 we can read:
"As for me, this is my covenant with them," says the LORD. "My Spirit, who is on you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will not depart from your mouth, or from the mouths of your children, or from the mouths of their descendants from this time on and forever," says the LORD. Isaiah 59:21 NIV
It is very clear, the Holy Spirit is only the word of God that God has put into the mouth of His servants, the prophets.
Therefore, when Jesus said the Counselor is also the Holy Spirit, he means that the Counselor is the man whose mouth God had put His words or Holy spirit.
Question: Is the coming Counselor that Jesus mentioned when he was still alive-was he also mentioned by God before?
Let us read in Deuteronomy 18 verses 18 to 19.
“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account.” Deuteronomy 18:18-19 NIV (1984)
Indeed, We can read how in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 God already spoke about the Counselor that Jesus was referring to. This is the prophet whom He (God) will send like Moses; in whose mouth He will place His words or the HOLY SPIRIT and will speak in His Name or to reveal His Name.
By reading the Bible revelations on the website thename.ph about the Real Name of God and the real Jesus in the Bible, we can witness how the word of God about a coming prophet like Moses in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 and what Jesus said about the coming Counselor whose mouth has the Holy Spirit has been fulfilled in the person of Teacher Eraño Martin Evangelista.
He was not able to do such Bible exposition through his personal study or research of the scriptures. It is God Himself who guided the late Teacher Evangelista on how to reveal His Holy Name and the real Jesus in the Bible.
Since the coming Counselor that Jesus mentioned is the prophet like Moses, what other teaching of the apostles about Jesus can also be proven as a false testimony?
Let us read in Acts 3 verses 19 to 23.
Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord, and that he may send the Messiah, who has been appointed for you—even Jesus. Heaven must receive him until the time comes for God to restore everything, as he promised long ago through his holy prophets. For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people. Acts 3:19 to 23 NIV
The apostles made another false claim about Jesus as the prophet like Moses in Acts 3:19 to 23. Jesus already said that there is a coming Counselor who bears the Holy Spirit or the word of God, thus referring to the coming of another individual whom God destined to be the prophet like Moses. This indicates that the claims of the apostles about why God sent Jesus are NOT true at all.
Let us read again what the book of Revelation says about the credibility of the apostles. In Revelation 2 verse 2.
I know your deeds, your hard work, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. Revelation 2:2 NIV
We have learned in our previous articles how the apostles twisted God's words to make it appear that Jesus is a direct Son of God, who died for our sins, and then after his death on the cross, made it appear that he rose from the dead. It is evident why the apostles are found to be liars.
You may ask: If what the apostles have written about Jesus were lies, then why do we refer to their writings during this exposition?
Answer: It is because the apostles have written half-truths about Jesus. This is why for every word of Jesus that the apostles have written, the prophet like Moses, Teacher Evangelista showed us the words of God written by the prophets to confirm that what Jesus said and what the apostles have written is the truth or not.
Let us read more of what Jesus said about the coming “Counselor, who is also the Prophet like Moses.”
In John 15 verse 26.
"When the Counselor comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who goes out from the Father, he will testify about me. John 15:26 NIV
We can understand from the said passage that what the Counselor or the prophet like Moses’ speaks about Jesus comes from God Himself and he is the one who will testify about Jesus.
Why is there a need for another Counselor to testify about Jesus? Let us read in John 5:31-32.
"If I testify about myself, my testimony is not valid. There is another who testifies in my favor, and I know that his testimony about me is valid. John 5:31-32 NIV
As we can read from the passage, the real Jesus will be known through the testimony of the coming Counselor, as his revelation concerning Jesus comes from what God had commanded him to show in the scriptures.
Now let us learn what this testimony is about Jesus which is valid? Let us read in Revelation 22:16 NIV
"I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star." Revelation 22:16 NIV
The valid testimony about Jesus is that Jesus is just an offspring of David and not a son of God, who was chosen to fulfill the prophecy in 2nd Samuel 7:12-14 after King Solomon failed. The counselor will also testify Jesus that is the prophesied morning star or Lucifer in Isaiah 14:9-20.
We have witnessed how this testimony about Jesus came to life through the Bible exposition of the Counselor, who is also the Prophet like Moses, the late Teacher Evangelista on the website www.thename.ph.
Question: Islamic scholars claim that the “Counselor” which Jesus spoke about is their prophet Muhammad-Is their claim valid?
Answer: Muhammad did not testify about Jesus being a son of David who was prophesied in 2nd Samuel 7:12-14. Also, the prophecy about the revelation of Jesus being the bright morning star or Lucifer, as prophesied in Isaiah 14:9-20, did not occur in Muhammad’s lifetime, nor was he able to reveal the true name of God in the Bible. This only shows that Muhammad is not the Counselor spoken by Jesus and also not the prophet like Moses mentioned in Deuteronomy 18:18-19.
Let us read Deuteronomy 18 verses 18 to 19 once again:
I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him. If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account. Deuteronomy 18:18-19 NIV (1984)
For a long time, people were led to believe that that this coming prophet is of Jewish descent. In reality, the said prophet is not a Jew as God spoke before about other nations who will be considered as His people Israel. Is this true?
Let us read in Zechariah 2 verse 11.
"Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people. I will live among you and you will know that the LORD Almighty has sent me to you. Zechariah 2:11 NIV
"Many nations will be joined with the LORD in that day and will become my people.” – This means that God will consider people from other nations as His people Israel. Since God said that the prophet like Moses will come “from among their brothers”, He means that the coming prophet is NOT a Jew but a foreigner. God will consider the “foreigner” as His people Israel.
How will that happen? Let us read God’s word in Zechariah 13:9:
‘This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ Zechariah 13:9 NIV
Those who will call on the real name of God will be considered by God as His people.
When God chose Teacher Evangelista, a Filipino, to be His prophet “like Moses,” He first revealed to him His true Name in the scriptures. This makes Teacher Evangelista become an Israelite - the FIRST of God’s new Israel.
Indeed, God raised up a ‘prophet like Moses’ from the brothers of the Israelites!
God showed how He is true in His word in Zechariah 13:9 that He will consider His people those who call on His Name, when He chose a Gentile or foreigner, Teacher Evangelista, to be His prophet like Moses. God sent him to reveal His great Name to mankind.
Question: how do we know that the prophet whom God had sent to reveal His Name is a foreigner from a faraway country?
Answer: Let us read in 1st Kings 8 verses 41 to 43.
“As for the foreigner who does not belong to your people Israel but has come from a distant land because of your name.” 1st Kings 8:41 NIV
This is the prophet like Moses; he comes from a far country because of God’s Name.
To continue in 1st Kings 8 verse 42-43:
“for men will hear of your great name and your mighty hand and your outstretched arm - when he comes and prays toward this temple, ‘then hear from heaven, your dwelling place, and do whatever the foreigner asks of you, so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel, and may know that this house I have built bears your Name.’ 1st Kings 8:42-43 NIV
“for men will hear of your great name” – God’s "prophet like Moses" is not a Jew but a foreigner - manifested in our time in the person of Teacher Eraño Evangelista.
As the passage says, “so that all the peoples of the earth may know your name and fear you, as do your own people Israel,” -Before he passed away, he made his Bible revelations about the Name of God available to be read by the whole world on the said website.
To confirm that the prophet like Moses whose mouth God will place His words and will send to reveal His Name is a foreigner, let us read in Isaiah 30 verse 27.
See, the Name of the Lord comes from afar, with burning anger and dense clouds of smoke; his lips are full of wrath, and his tongue is a consuming fire. Isaiah 30:27 NIV
Why would God's Name come from afar as written in Isaiah 30 verse 27?
It is because the prophet like Moses is a Foreigner, consistent with what we have read in I Kings 8:41-43, and will not come from the Jews but from a faraway land.
He is sent by God to proclaim His true teachings and His Holy Name to all nations.
Question: In what faraway land will the name of God be proclaimed?
Let us read the answer in Isaiah 24 verses 14 to 15.
They raise their voices, they shout for joy; from the west they acclaim the LORD's majesty. Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea. Isaiah 24:14-15 NIV
It is written that the real true Name of God will be glorified in the East, in the Islands of the sea. This is because the man whom God chose as His prophet like Moses to reveal His Name and at the same time to reveal the real Jesus, comes from the island country in the East- the Philippines
And when the nations of the world are united in calling on the Name of God as revealed by the prophet like Moses- what prophecy will be fulfilled?
In Zechariah 14 verse 9 we can read:
The LORD will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one LORD, and his name the only name. Zechariah 14:9 NIV
“The LORD will be king over the whole earth”.- Will be “king” because Satan once ruled the earth through Jesus and now that Jesus was already exposed, God’s true teachings will now rule the world and therefore peace and righteousness will now be established on earth. “On that day there will be one LORD,”- Only one God, no more division! “and his name the only name.” – Only one Name.
The day is fast coming that the whole world will worship the one true Name of God.
When the peoples of the world listen to the Bible revelations of the Last Prophet, Teacher Eraño Evangelista, and acknowledge the Name of God and the real Jesus that was revealed in the said website, there will be no religion to FIGHT OR DIE FOR anymore. We will now enter the era of true unity and peace as we will now be one in calling on God’s true Name.
Let us now listen to what God said about the Prophet like Moses or the Counselor, whose mouth He placed His words or His Holy Spirit. In Isaiah 42 verses 1 to 6 we can read:
"Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations. Isaiah 42:1 NIV
“I will put my Spirit on him” –Therefore the man that God speaks about here is the prophet in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 in whose mouth God has put His words or “Holy Spirit”.
Let us return to Isaiah 42 this time reading verses 2 and 3:
He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. In faithfulness he will bring forth justice; Isaiah 42:2-3. NIV
“He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets.” - The late Teacher Evangelista was able to reveal the word of God to the whole world not via live telecast but through the Internet website www.thename.ph since 2005.
“In faithfulness he will bring forth justice;” - This means that through Maestro Evangelista’s revelation about Jesus, God’s righteous law in Deuteronomy 24:16 about having no innocent individual dying for the sins of another has been made known and ESTABLISHED that Jesus never died for the sins of others. God punished him with the rod and floggings of men for committing wrong which is by preaching falsehood to his fellow Israelites.
Where will the prophet ‘like Moses’ come from? Let us read Isaiah 42 verse 4.
he will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope." Isaiah 42:4 NIV
“islands” – The islands are mentioned again, the Philippines; the place from where God’s Name and the Commandments will be given to the people of the world.
With the fulfillment of God’s word in Deuteronomy 18:18-19 in the person of Maestro Eraño M. Evangelista of www.thename.ph, what can the whole world realize? In Isaiah 42 verse 5 we can read:
‘This is what God the LORD says, he who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it:’ Isaiah 42:5 NIV
Through the fulfillment of His word about the coming of His prophet like Moses in our time, we can understand that God does exist and that He is indeed the great God who created the heavens and the earth!
To continue in Isaiah 42 verse 6.
"I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, Isaiah 42:6 NIV
“I will keep you and will make you be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles,”: This purports that by revealing the true Name of God, Teacher Evangelista has made the whole world understand that God’s decrees and Ten Commandments are truly the real covenant of God. For every person who wants to truly worship God, all they should do is acknowledge His Name and obey His Commandments!
More importantly, since God made the prophet like Moses-His righteous servant, as 'light' and covenant for the people, God makes it clear to all the said prophet is His last prophet and we should no longer make our interpretation and opinion about His word but to only listen to the explanation and elucidation of the prophet like Moses.
Otherwise, why would God give us a reminder in Deuteronomy 18:19 with the words “If anyone does not listen to my words that the prophet speaks in my name, I myself will call him to account?"
Why do we need to know the Name of God that was revealed in the Bible by the Prophet like Moses, Teacher Evangelista?
In Joel 2 verses 31 to 32 we can read:
The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. Joel 2:31 NIV
“The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood:" This is now happening in our time. Violence and killings happen everywhere and all these events are signs of “the coming great and dreadful day of the LORD."
How can we be saved when the great and terrible day of the LORD comes? Let us continue in Joel 2 verse 32:
'And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, even among the survivors whom the LORD calls.' Joel 2:32 NIV
For us to be saved on that “great and dreadful day of the LORD," we must call and acknowledge the real Name of God.
However, this does not mean that we have to wait on that dreadful day to happen before we call on God’s true Name.
These events signify that the terrible “day” will happen because we do not call on the true Name of the living God!
The KEY, therefore, to end all the problems that we see in our world today is for everyone to be united in calling on the real and true Name of God in the Bible that was already revealed by the late Teacher Evangelista in the website www.thename.ph.
